um, cool, but what are they? I mean yeah, satellite images, but what about them?

Woah, that's awesome. I didn't know the continental outlines and grids were added at source. It puzzled me for a bit that you'd get the red and green colour values coming through clearly, but a lot of interference on the image itself.. are these old/unencrypted satellites with damaged camera sensors?

Note to self: in case of zombie apocalypse, ensure BAI's employment before another warlord makes a better offer.

Other note to self: in case of zombie apocalypse, consider blaming BAI. This does not countermand first note to self.

whoa, BAI, that's fecking awesome. makes me wanna try a shot at it, but I'd have to get a lot of hardware before I could even start.

my current personal pet project is moved to a different thread cause I don't wanna jack yours (http://www.principiadiscordia.com/forum/index.php?topic=23203.0).

Also, I'm pretty sure that enough iridium coms sats flown together in a parabolic mirror configuration (of which there are literally thousands bopping about up there ...) could well make a zombie zapping goldeneye style death ray of doom. I can knock up a dull simulation for anyone interested.

Diffraction is a problem.
