Greetings,
I have decided to share my world with you all, as my views will never get published. Only because I don't acknowledge their existance. Maybe you will love me for who I am. I am about to speak the unpublished words of Eric the Transexual.
Firstly, there is no such thing as a non-Penis bearing human. Eris as you know her is really Eric the Transexual.
My first encounter was in the shower, I was washing my sexy calf, but I accidently dropped the soap - and Eric promptly came up from behind.
After my enlightening experience, he imparted on wisdoms from ancients past; I saw that all there is, is Eric and everything else is and/or isn't Eric. People keep mistaking Eric as a female, he was quite upset about that :( But he has grown to love it. Even embrace it, sometimes s/he resents it. I can't tell anymore. It does not matter!
Anyhow, Eric told me "They will show their acceptance by outrightedly refusing what you say. Or maybe they won't, no one cares at this stage"
Shocked I continued on, "What do you want with me?"
Eric said "Everyones a Discordian. Just like everyone is gay, they may not know it. May not acknowledge it, they may refuse it but they still are Gay"
I asked "What if I refuse it?"
"It does not matter, you are my bitch!"
A few thousand ticks later, I was drying myself - and the prophetic words came to me on a google search.
After plagerising and fixing up Nostradamus's words - it read
"The young poop will overcome the greater one,
On the field in Japan during the fifth day;
Golden Apples run rampant there, but no one is gay
He lives a cruel life. "
I freaked out, I realised why Eric has chosen me! I must awaken up those who deny themselves.
After wandering around aimlessly, I found my way on the shores here. I aimed for entrance, but I was denied!
Fruitlessly, I started to search for the Principia Discordia book ... but it hasn't been sold for 2 years, so I placed an Order; and it will come around The Aftermath 75.
So until then, I will listen to the whispers of Eric and my words will be the real deal!
Until then ...
I'm damn clueless :(
I forget what my point was, but this is how Eric wanted it. Eris says hi and um ... I love you all?
I have opinions.
I will state them later, when I am not so tired.
That can never be good :(
Mum always told me it can't hurt you if it doesn't exist
Why is this in Literate Chaotic? shouldn't it be in the introductions thread?
wow, that is a unique approach to grand and glory ol' Discordjia!
I... thought I had seen it all. I was wrong!
nice intro, notpublished, welcome to the fagbasket. :mrgreen:

Well, we've had our annual claim of direct contact with Eris. I was becoming concerned...the year was almost over.
Naw fuckkit. I was going to post a big lengthy reply to this, but decided I just don't care.

Don't worry, NotPublished, the nerve endings shut down after being engulfed in flames for a little while, so it'll be relatively painless.

1) Defensiveness (hey, I thought you were all discordians!)
2) Anger (free-thought is stomped here? what about the dada!!)
3) Denial (ha, it was all a sociological experiment, you just proved you are actually greyfaces)
4) Patronizing (open your pineal glands and allow the Freedom of Eric the Transsexual fuck your mind! this is how it is done!)

... On a serious note, thank you all.
In reality, I am only new to Discordianism, I've read only the first 10 pages of Principia Discordia. Its such a fun thing to look at and go through (and it rings true at everything), and I read a post around here that even if your playing along with it - you still end up being apart of it. Again, so very true and seems to be the nature behind it all.
And I DID order the book, just need to wait after the christmas for it to come from America =/

Ingredients (serves 4)
* 500g dark chocolate
* 2 tbs golden syrup
* 125g unsalted butter
* 4 eggs
* 1 tbs caster sugar
* 1 tbs plain flour, sifted
* Melted chocolate, to decorate
* Chocolate sorbet, to serve
*
Coffee mascarpone
* 200g mascarpone cheese
* 2 tbs instant coffee
* 2 tbs pure icing sugar
Method
1. Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease and line the base of a 20cm round spring-form cake pan with non-stick baking paper.
2. Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Set aside to cool slightly.
3. Place eggs and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer or use an electric hand beater and beat on high for 10 minutes until very thick and pale. Gently fold in the flour then fold in the chocolate mixture until combined. Pour into the cake pan and bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and run a knife around the edge of the cake. Remove collar from cake pan and transfer the cake to the fridge for 1 hour to cool (this step is important as it sets the middle of the cake).
4. Meanwhile, to make the coffee mascarpone, dissolve coffee in 1 tablespoon of boiling water and set aside to cool. Beat together the mascarpone, coffee and sugar in a bowl until stiff.
5. To make the chocolate leaf, brush non-toxic leaves with the melted chocolate. When cool, peel the leaf off.
6. Slice the cake and serve with a dollop of coffee mascarpone, a chocolate leaf on top and a scoop of sorbet on the side.

Hahahaha, I thought I was at step 1. But you know...
Actually, this is going to be an interesting twist. Because you know what, I am bored. Perhaps this was expected in the long run?
I am from the TCC, my username IS Taliesin.
I joined here originally to understand what this was all about, but infact I am coming to like it here. And do not worry, I am not a spy. You can do shit all what you want to the forums, in fact I can't wait till you guys make a move. Regardless of what I do, it doesn't matter in the end. I can try defend the actions on the TCC forums themselves, but people are just so damn stupid sometimes they give in way too easily. Perhaps I am giving in, but I am enjoying it regardless.
There is a freedom here that I haven't enjoyed in another forum before. TCC is becomming way too stagnant, while I was with the forums from a YOUNG age (I joined up there when I was around 13-14 ... it has shaped a large part of myself, but I am in no way a Wiccan/Pagan) .. I am just bored of TCC now. Nothing to share, nothing to expand on ... heck I find it hard to fool around or joke with them. I am too used to playing the view of being a mothergoose or similar in that regards. I could be deluding myself, but whatever. Its a nice delusion regardles.
If by admitting this, I am no longer accepted. Then so be it, but I still want to thank you guys for the Chaos. It always brings understanding.

Its a big shame TCC is the way it is though, I thought I'd be able to help somehow, I held it with close sentiments since it has actually shaped what kind of person I am. I grew up with it, as lame as it sounds - I went to them when I couldn't go to my parents. I don't know what possesed me to do that LOL. It sounds messed, doesn't it? I remember the last attack you guys did (Or was it a different group?), I was a casualty from it. I was asked to join up with them on another forum on helping restoring TCC - but I told them TCC wasn't for me and left ... a few years later, I had an urge to go back and see how it was. It was like coming back to home after awhile. You know, wondering how the parents at home were going. It was ... ok, I had fun here and there, but eh ... I won't cry if it shut down.
I was hoping that by joining here, I could atleast help the others to not take it so seriously ... but I realised and accepted that its their own choice - how many times has everyone pointed out not to take things to heart. Yet they still do. That and it felt like I was talking with a brick wall.

throwing the golden apple at TCC
is helping it. In a way.
the angles which are being attacked are weaknesses. For example, there's a growing "fuck off newbie" vibe. Discordians find it fun to
intensify that energy. Either that energy will become a dominant force, in which case they will have a lot of trouble recruiting new members, or they will learn to drop it. In the long run, this kind of action is good for the survival of a board. It's like how your body fights disease by raising the temperature. We call it fever, but it's nuking zillions of bacteria.
Or the McWicca thread - greatly underscores the clannish and neophobic tendencies of neo-pagans. If we can draw those tendencies to the surface, perhaps people can move past them.
Or provoking Corvus... In time, he will either learn how to deal with power responsibly, or he will totally alienate his fellow mods. It's a fun ride!
Also, when a group of people confronts stress together, it strengthens their bonds. So in the long run, what we are doing is brining the TCC family tighter. They may just have to stab each other to death first.
Years ago, there was a really classic discordian gambit over there, in which they kept changing the rules to box out questionable behavior. So the Discordians kept changing their behavior to something which was technically in-bounds, but still in poor taste. They'd change the rules again to ban this behavior. then the discordians morphed again. Over time, the rules became more and more absurd. It began repelling their long time members. They were faced with an interesting choice: tighten our grip further, alienating our userbase in the process? or lighten the fuck up?
by my count, this is the fourth boarding over at TCC. And the Discordians, as usual, are using tactics which they couldn't figure out even if they read this thread.

What you says is pretty much the truth. I can see it the same in that light. It is interesting to see what will occur all in all. Is TCC as strong as I'd like to believe it is, or am I holding onto an illusion? Damn, makes me wonder if having bad parents makes a good kid after all :P

You guys became such a staple, who stuck on from MW or TCC or any other place sorta just wish-washed out of my head.
To be fair, though, I wasn't singling out A_S and SPS, just throwing them out as examples of the "cool" ones. I'd definitely add you in with them though.

Whoops. For some reason I got the idea you were a she at TCC. Something you said.
Anyways, my definition of Mage: Able to shit my own body weight.
TGRR,
Mage.
I did a long time ago, no one really bothered to read what I wrote.
Can you blame them?
I read most of your posts, but I can't be fucked to read or try to make sense of pineal ramblings. I figure if someone wants to be understood, they will make themselves understandable
Except for my friend Hirley-0, who has a bone fide incomprehensible crazy.
Also, I am a horrible bitch who doesn't believe in transexuality. At least, most of the time I don't. Once in a while I slip and believe in it for a minute, the same way I believe in magic.

Hi Talesin. I think I remember you from when I was over at TCC. I guess you didn't hit eb&g like a lot of other TCC assholes did (and some were great like SPS and Absolute_Silence--who are still at eb&g), so I don't remember you as well.
I think if you are looking for the antidote to boredom, this will suit you, just wear a flak jacket and mind the poop smears.
:argh!: :sad:

heh, I figured as much and that it wasn't some purposeful exclusion. I was just bored and felt like being a pain in the ass and poking someone (heh). For fun, tho. :) TBH, occasionally I forget I came from over there, seeing as after however long I was there, never quite fit in (kissed enough ass?) and they were pretty quick to turn against me the moment I "stepped out of line".
Even though I'm pretty much the socially awkward girl sitting in the corner at the party that no-one really notices, I've definitely enjoyed my stay over here and at EB&G a hell of a lot better for numerous reasons.

:mrgreen: haha no worries on being left out. Wasn't trying to nit-pick. And I'd much rather be "part of the crowd" here than ass-sucker at TCC (no offense intended to anyone that posts at TCC and isn't an ass-sucker).
And before I start rambling like I do when I get all awkward - NO offense taken. Just pokin' for fun.

The only thing I am certain of is that alot of the times he is playing around. As to whether he is a brilliant troll or an insane moron, I doubt he'd even answer that himself. But, that could be just exactly what he wants. I think the answer lays in his sense of humour.
Though, this could be a biased opinion - since I think many people have a sense of humour when they are being serious.

That could be closer to the mark, I do have issues with speaking whats truly on my mind. I never understood what my own reasoning was, I know that I don't like hurting people, but I'm starting to realise its stupid - I don't like hurting people BUT I have to learn that not everyone is weak and fragile (My reasoning is that I grew up around emotionaly unstable people; I've learned how to cope, but that is just a lame excuse) .. but anyhow I think that by being here, in such a confronting place (When have I ever been confronted on the TCC?) will help break down the useless garbage running around.
A few pages back, before this thread was claimed a Sociology experiment - I mentioned that Payne's hate was refreshing. It definantly was. But, I'm not going to play my stupid games around here. I'll do my best to be straight foward, even if It takes me several edits of a message.
I definantly don't want to end up being a door mat.
