British.  It will help your writing skills.

Seconded.  Also fantasy lit mostly sucks.  Fantasy and sci-fi are the last refuge of scoundrels, few exceptions aside.

Having read an Asstonne of Fantasy and Sci-Fi, I third the suggestion.

I'm leaning this way so far. It helps that the instructor is a hottie.

So, apparently I have the option to skip British Lit. I and go straight to British Lit II.

Good idea/bad idea?

Check the syllabus for Lit 1, and read all the books on it.  If you don't understand them, take the class.

Yeesh, I don't know about that... I'm taking Human Sexuality this semester for a biology course so I don't have to cut things up and whatnot (not that I'm totally irked by that kind of stuff, but their is something about the circulatory system that really bugs me out for some reason, not sure why or where it may have stemmed from).

And isn't that what formal education is really all about?

It all boils down to networking in the end.

Spend the semester as you wish and what would be most pleasing to you!

Dimo, you young idealistic college students with your 100 types of classes on literature alone are what is wrong with this country, nay the world.. Stop sapping away money from your parents and/or the state, kill your dreams and become a hard working self sufficient member of the middle class. If you work hard enough you might even get some days off. And then when you're sixty five and you've retired you can relax in the Bahamas were you can read as much British Literature as you want.

:lulz: Sarcasm?

Either way, been there, done that. I resurrected my dreams, but now they're all Frankensteiny...
