I'm new here. I was a Christian. Then one against church. Then a blasphemous Christian. Then something I will refer to as a spiritualist, even considered being a Wiccan at one point. I've been digging into this Discordian stuff and lo and behold, in its confusing verbose splendor its message makes more sense than any other religion. I think I'm going with Spiritualist Discordian. Or maybe just Discordian. Or maybe nothing at all? Wait, I can't be an Athiest, because its not even a religion by definition. Oh well. I may not know what I am, but I know I'm not a robot or a cabbage, and I know that 23 is following me.
By the way if anyone cares or is wondering about the name: At the risk of beating a dead horse, being cliche or a dumbass, I chose to assume the position of Bishop because #1 it came up randomly in a word generator, and #2 I always liked that Monty Python sketch... Plus I think I should have some form of (religious?) authority in the world. :p Baqarah comes from the book of the Koran, "The Cow", and I have been known as some variation of Flame on video games or message boards in the past "Rebel Flame".
Welcome.
Mind the monkeys, they're /everywhere/.
Hi there. Do you have any nice recipes?
Much appreciated. I thought I smelled poo.
Recipes... do you count adding Frank's Redhot to spaghetti sauce? I'm afraid I'm a pretty shitty cook.
Any other skills?
It helps.
Welcome.
Do you have pie?
I assure you I'm full of plenty of odd theories, beliefs, grudges and grievances, but I won't punish you with all of them at once. You see the reason I don't know what in the world I am is because I disagree with some or all aspects of every major belief system I thought I could go with :p
I do have the skill/ability to think, and as a result I am tired of interacting with people who can't/don't, and that's probably why I ended up here. I guess I'm attracted to other people who think, or at least look at the lighter side of things when they choose not to. That being said, it may be the only skill I have, and I may not be the best at it considering I still look at the Discordian calendar with a "duh" look on my face.
If you want pie, you'll have to catch he who stole it: :rbtg:
is it too late to take it back? did anyone save the receipt?

*searches threw her purse and numerous boxes* I DONT THINK I DID!!! :x
Hello there, BBF. If you like thinking about stuff, you'll like it here. If you like criticism with a healthy serving of hilarity on the side, you'll like it even more.

How to put this... Don't worry about that. In fact, don't worry about your mastery/knowledge of anything contained in the Principia Discordia. I've been hanging around here for about two years now and I still don't pay any attention to the Discordian Calendar. Instead, worry about... um, actually, just don't worry. They can smell your fear.
Hi there.

Oh, yeah. You came to the right place. :lulz:
Oh it's not that I was worrying about the calendar or much else for that matter, it just irritates me when a "formula" goes over my head and I set out on a mini-quest to figure it out, probably OCD! :argh!:
I'm a Spiritualist too. I imbibe frequently.
