Goddamnit, kill me. Kill me now.

QuoteMSNBC's Rachel Maddow has looked into online claims that Bristol Palin, the 19-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, has launched a political PR and consultancy firm -- and has found the claims to be true.
But that doesn't mean the 19-year-old Bristol -- mother of Tripp, now the focus of a custody battle -- will be running her mother's 2012 presidential campaign, Maddow says.
Researchers on the Rachel Maddow Show have obtained documents showing that the younger Palin filed paperwork in September to launch a company that can provide lobbying, public relations and political consulting services.
Thomas Van Flein, Palin's lawyer, told Maddow that Bristol Palin incorporated herself as part of her work as "ambassador" for the Candie's Foundation, an abstinence-oriented youth group.
Surely Sarah is compassionate and a good woman that takes care of her home, and bears the cross that God gave her (Trig); but also having a promiscous daughter, just comes to show that she has bad blood in her, and makes for a bad leader. Althought Bristol is making an effort with the foundation, so that other girls dont make the same mistake as her, and stay abstinent until marriage (and even do her pregnancy was unexpected, she did the moral action of having it.)
Edit: this is something im trying to be good at, bear with me.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Ever since she was elected Governer AK has seen a steep rise in heroin availability and use. Now her daughter heads a perfectly unrealistic, pliable business that can move around the country with ease.
I think you know where I'm going with this.
Alty,
not going anywhere with this.

Im renaming the 21st Century "The March of the Lulz"
This is what happens when Reality TV culture and Politics merge. Anyone who manages to get their mug on some screen somewhere automatically becomes qualified to do important stuff. Meanwhile, nobody notices the more likely scenario that the majority of flesh monkeys who get their mugs on some screen somewhere are actually pretty goddamn awful at doing important stuff and should probably just shut up and stay away from the rest of us.
Why is everyone getting up in arms over this? She's not actually going to do any real consulting. This is just a wingnut welfare company. Her mom's political pals gain brownie points by throwing money her way and all she has to do is show up at a couple of abstinence conferences a year and spew out random talking points. Meh to all of this.
You say that now, but wait until you see her pontificating on ABC news about foreign policy, and being taken seriously.
We should send her an inquiry letter regarding how she would direct a campaign.....
I mean seriously can you imagine?
Aside from that, I think I may have peed myself a little because I can't stop laughing.... :lulz:

It'll be on Fox.
And I can't wait for the aging and decrepit pundits there to have to smile and pretend she's smart.
I can hear their teeth grinding already. :lulz:
Oh, it will start on Fox. But she'll be such a big hit, the Big 3 Networks will be forced to get in on the act.

This. Meghan McCain was bad enough, and she at least seems to be vaguely intelligent.
Is it just me, or is America becoming more and more an aristocracy by the day? Media, PR, politics, intelligence, corporations...all seem to be recruiting based more on blood ties than ability.

Welcome to the entire history of North America.

Do you recall the WOMP Cramulus made some months back...
Some egyptian sphinx on the background and a pyramid, and on the "front" and lower part of the image, riot police with "VOTE" stickers on their shields, and i dont remember what else...
Aristocracies have always existed and will exist, only the form they incarnate in is what changes.
And no, things "aren't better" from what it was 20,000 years ago from the class-struggle perspective; our only solace is technology making everyones life better.
QuoteAristocracies have always existed
No they haven't. So please spare me the jaded cynicism on a subject you clearly haven't bothered to learn about.

You're so right, because 20,000 years ago the human race had a class system that is in any way recognizable or comparable to what we have now, and it's just as bad! :lulz:
Hint: Recorded history does not extend 20000 years into the past.
I messed up my timeline; from 2,600 B.C. on.
Call them pharaohs, tyrants, emperors, kings, politicians or transnational companies.
