"A quick review: Damaging e-mails have revealed that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner urged AIG to withhold crucial information about the deterioration of its financial condition in the lead up to its demise. This will put further political pressure on Geithner, who has already been exposed for his dubious role in the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy."

They are way too wealthy to be subject to any kind of justice beyond being frowned at and making a few billion less this week than they did last week
:lulz:

That, or they were trying to sell comics under the days of the Comics Authority.
if you do start popping them off, invest in a quality rifle and training, and do it beltway sniper style so that you are likely to take more of them out.
old boy style might be gratifying but will probably end up as suicide by cop....
What this forum needs is a dedicated hitman.
Any volunteers? It's for a good cause.
I read about this months ago, but it's great to see it come from more sources.
Damn.

So there are those places that allow you to gamble on anything, right?
Do they allow you to gamble on when a particular person will die? or whether they will be killed in a certain way?
just curious....

Aim for the head, they make bulletproof suits now, and I'm guessing sales are way up.
Most good quality hunting rifles do not care about your vest.
Just saying.

You're thinking of the "Assassination Politics" essay, right?
I *assume* you have read it, otherwise you really should cause it's right up your alley (the concept at least, check some references to read about problems with the execution)
http://www.google.com/search?q=assassination+politics
should contain the essay and a bunch of references in the top 10 results.
thanks for the tip, Trip! hadn't read it; will read now.

Which is all the more amusing when you remember that GIM is basically loaded with 400 pound basement-dwelling "survival experts".
:lulz:
WANT
Actually i was thinking of the Bower's board when i said that, but it has been posted on GIM more than a few times. Although there are plenty of Mall Ninjas and Keyboard Commandos on GIM, you'd be surprised how many people there are there that actually do have their shit together. they are usually the ones talking about food storage, or gardening or such, but some of them have some impressive setups...

Assasination politics? Unfortunately I am pretty sure that never got off the ground.
