I'm disappointed to learn your last name is not pronounced, OOH-uh-boochy.
Eye-a-son Ooh-A-Boosh.
I always pronounced it ee-ay-sen wabash.
I pronounced it "Susan".
I think in his intro or thereabouts, Iason explained how to pronounce Ouabache and why he chose it.
eta--spelling
I always thought YAY-son Wabashay.
I always thought it was ee-ay-son oo-bash-uh.
. . . Eye Ass Unn Wabash . . . but, then, I'm foreign . . .
It's not my fault that the France liked to add extra vowels when they wrote down Native American words.

Yep.
Iason = Greekified version of my real first name.
Ouabache = French bastardization of the Miami Indian word "waapaahšiiki" which apparently means "it shines
white brown". It was further bastardized by the British to Wabash. I picked it because my wife and I have lived very close to the Wabash River for our entire lives.
And now you know the rest of the story.
Jason is actually Paul Harvey?
That makes a disturbing amount of sense.
Paul Harvey's Ghost would be an awesome user name. I'll have to remember that.
