Quote(CNN) -- There was no profanity, no hate. Just the words, "I love my friends Abby and Faith. Lex was here 2/1/10 :)" scrawled on the classroom desk with a green marker.
QuoteAlexa's hands were cuffed behind her back, and tears gushed as she was escorted from school in front of teachers and -- the worst audience of all for a preadolescent girl -- her classmates.
"They put the handcuffs on me, and I couldn't believe it," Alexa recalled. "I didn't want them to see me being handcuffed, thinking I'm a bad person."
:horrormirth: Need I say anything else?
What happened to making the kid clean the whole classroom? :?
BUT SHE'S A VANDAL!

Now that's just excessive.
YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK, FOLKS!
What happened to just tasering the kids? I thought that was the "in" thing to do now.

This is what the American people have been
demanding.
It's amazing what people get away with these days. Jesus fucking christ. If I was the arresting officer, I'd have given the school this:
:spag2:
...and flipped them off as I got back in my squadcar.
My friend's 6th-grader got detention yesterday for mistakenly using the wrong construction paper in his project.
DETENTION. Because he was confused by the poorly-worded directions the teacher had written.
What happened to grading? Maybe give the kid a C on the project and explain why?
No no no--I got one BETTER--my kid got detention because *I* didn't sign a paper he had to turn in. I FORGOT to sign it, he stays in for lunch. So MY mistake got MY kid detention.
Sins of the father/mother, or what?
WHAT THE HELL.
That's flat-out bullshit. And, I know from experience, it's really hard to get these shitheads fired.

The Exiled's coverage is amusing. Apparently New york just trained 5000 officers to arrest schoolchildren, but because of budget cuts only has 3000 school counselors.
Why teach chlidren if you can imprison them?
Come on, Folks, the prison system is BIG BUSINESS these days!
SAVE OUR ECONOMY
IMPRISON CHILDREN.
Advice Puppy?
These are just what low, poor or lack of standards will get you. Instead of expelling people for cheating, we congratulate it and instead screw over people that look, talk and act different or weird. Sure, she should have been made to take rubbing alcohol to all the desks and clean them, that would have been the right way out. But what sort of message would that have sent to other playful vandals? That it's okay to do something fun and funny once in a while, that doesn't hurt anyone? We can't have that, god forbid people in our society have uncommercial forms of /fun/!
It's all fucked.
Goddammit reality!
i was kidding when i said prison was better than school for kids!
STOP LISTENING TO ME!
