So I don't know if any of you have been following the little feud that has developed between John Stewart and Bernie Goldberg, but it has been pretty amusing. So, last night Bernie goes on this diatribe against Stewart, talking about how his audience is stupid and how he's a Jay Leno wannabe and some other crap. And so, John Stewart strikes back, again, with pure unadulterated win:

I love how MSNBC is reporting on this.
This is absolutely amazing :D
Bill O and Bernie's response. In case anyone was wondering:

I know this goes without saying but Bernie Goldberg is a gigantic tool.
This is way more entertaining than forum antics.
We'll never get our own TeeVee show. :(

Sure we did. It's just in syndicated re-runs
forever.

Wow, they're pretty much literally shaking in their boots.
That's great :D
This fucking OWNS.
They can never beat Stewart at his game. They're just too easy to troll.

The more they respond, the more they show that it's not about news, it's about ratings.
Everyone who is capable of thinking critically should have realized that this is the case for most "news" networks a long time ago.
VP,
hoping there is a resurgence of actual journalism sometime soon.
I was watching this last night and I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes
I can't way to see how this continues to develop
Here's what I'd like to see, but I don't think Bernie has the stones:
Bill O has had Jon Stewart on as a guest in the past. I'd like to have him do a show with Jon AND Bernie as a guest. Ideally it would be the whole hour, but even just a segment or two would be awesome. Won't happen though.

Also, I watched the response video, and I found myself thinking of Bill O'Rielly as the sane guy at fox news (still biased, but in an everyday sortof way).
Correct me if I'm wrong but 5 years ago wasn't he considered a far right nutjob who thought he was a moderate?

Yep.
Then the political spectrum shifted so much that he became right.
That's what I thought. :horrormirth:
