QuoteLYNNWOOD, Wash. -- A man was shot in the testicles Sunday afternoon after a gun in his waistband accidentally discharged, police said.
The man was shopping at the Lowe's hardware store in Lynnwood around 12:30 p.m. when the gun went off, said Shannon Sessions with Lynnwood police.
Medics were called and the man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, but the extent of his injuries is not known.
No one else was injured, and the man appeared to be shopping alone, Sessions said.
Sessions said it was legal for the man to be carrying the gun and it's unlikely he'll face any charges.

I wouldn't penalize anyone for taking themselves out of the gene pool either, especially in a manner such as this.
Good to see those concealed carry gun safety courses work so well :lulz:

Just saying.

Even better, he probably did it with a bullet in the chamber and the safety off.

Bullet for sure in chamber. Safeties aren't.
I'm glad I'm not anywhere near that hole, just looking at the picture gives me an uncontrollable urge to throw myself down it.

Just saying.

When you stare into the Abyss... There's a good chance it wants to say something like, "I double dare you".

I am in love with that hole.
Also, my .45 doesn't have a safety. It's a long story about how that happened, but it involves the guy whose ass I kicked for putting my gun away with the magazine in.

:lmnuen--yeah yeah you probably did that on purpose again, eh? :) trying to start a collection?
anyway the pic of that hole reminded me a lot of last week's Dr Who episodes, Hungry Earth.
I wonder if it's a good or a bad thing my morning newspaper didn't carry this event? Checking the article now to see what's up/happened,
ah seems they did cover it. They just didn't care to mention the giant sinkhole, or publish the awesome picture. So for me it went "big natural disaster halfway across the world. 113 people died. halfway across the world. that sucks, but what you're gonna do?" -- is that a wrong way to react?
Especially since I was a littlebit disappointed in my newspaper on the lack of peculation to the reasons why Germany's president suddenly stepped down yesterday (http://shttp://www.principiadiscordia.com/forum/index.php?topic=25357.0).

Amazing. It's all but perfectly round. I wonder how deep it is and if there is an underground lake or river at the bottom.
Looks like it's a sinkhole from mining. I saw the same sort when I was in Poland. You get these slight shifts and overnight a house disappears.
