Sam Vimes was also a Sergeant-at-Arms. You should try and follow his example, at every meeting. Does the leader of the Senate evoke unease in his or her contemporaries, rule with absolute power while appearing to do very little and has only the best interests of the University at heart? If not, find someone with those qualities ASAP. Having a small dog they are fond of wont hurt either.

Yes to the first (but only because he talks so damn much), yes to the second (except he doesn't have absolute power), and I believe the third is true.
