If only that were the case.

Isn't that the music used to advertise beef?
All that did was make me crave some beef stew.
Beck probably lured all those people there with the promise of free hotdogs and soda pop.

Alveda King plays on Uncle's iconic speech and calls on God to save the USA just as soon as the nation repents of its sins.
My eyeballs are twitching.

It's Hoedown, the fourth movement of Aaron Copeland's Rodeo suite.
I liked watching that. I liked hearing them scream.
Shriek. Shriek, you ugly crotch monsters.

It's enough to make you kick those teabaggers right in the chingaring chaws.

Is Beck afraid anyone who can speak as well as him?

Of course not. It takes a
very special brand of intellect to equal Glenn Beck's speechifying. And I don't mean "special", for that would be an insult to mentally handicapped individuals everywhere. And while I can't seem to get the video in question to work atm, I seem to recall that he was relatively safe. Not by a lot though.
I usually think Olberman is a tool but...

Wow.
I used to have a Chinese roommate who watched Glenn Beck so he could improve his English.

Eh, I don't see why if you think KO is a tool, this particular clip would seem any different to you. I've got nothing against him, personally. He's just the left-wing Bill O'Reilly after all. Both are good for a cheap laugh every now and then.

I was referring less to KO than to the statistics he referenced.

Oh, I simply read it as you were surprised by the way he presented it. I thought it was rather typical Olberman. But yeah, the statistics are pretty... well, not all that shocking really.
Glenn Beck will rape your babbies.
Tell me, does anyone else see any irony in Beck's idolization of what he thinks the leaders of the American revolution were, and his absolute hatred of what he thinks Obama is?
Founding Fathers = radical aristocrats
Obama = (according to Beck) elitist Marxist.
I mean, it's not such a huge leap from one to the other, on the grand scale of things. But then, I long ago gave up expecting coherency from Beck, in any sense of the word.
A buddy I used to work with listens to Glenn Beck for all his political news and economic insights. Said buddy is now reproducing. Can't wait to see what he teaches his sprawn. He still sends me e-mails about how right Glenn Beck is and what a loser I am for not being a Republican.
I like sending him clips from The Daily Show where Jon Stewart shows Beck contradicting himself. Incoherency might just be a dirty habit, but inconsistency is his lifestyle choice.
Glenn Beck just helps Jon Stewart and his writers win more Emmies.

Just how many people were there?
The world may never know.
