Before I consider signing up, can I be a Baal worshipping Canaanite and wage war on the "good guys"

QuoteThe Bible Online <The Bible Online: Ch1. The Heroes> is based on the first book of the Bible, Genesis. Players can meet and play the real heroes of Genesis, Abraham and his descendants. The game is designed for users to actually experience the Book of Genesis by fulfilling quests of Abraham, which is based on the true stories of the Genesis. As a MMORTS, players are to lead their tribe, build buildings, maintain resources and engage in warfare with other tribes. However, players do not stay in one place, but will go on a quest to go to the Promised Land. Players will lead Abraham's tribe from Ur to Haran and finally to Canaan. <The Bible Online: Ch.1 The Heroes> also offers additional elements of RPG. When Abraham dies, Isaac becomes the tribe leader and after Isaac dies, Jacob leads the tribe. There are also quests for users to experience Genesis according to the history of the Bible. For example, as it is written in Genesis 14:13~14, there is a quest for Abraham to lead 318 men to rescue his nephew Lot.

Then there is a bunch of bible quotes...

I have a lot of questions though... why do the soldiers look like crusader knights?
Why do the "Priests" have crosses?
Why is St. Micheal in the game?
Where are the Jews?
Do I get send down plagues on my enemies? or does the AI do it to me for disobeying it?
Does playing this game purge me of my sins?
Does the game makers really think it's wise to have give a MMO based on the bible a chat feature?

Guess Ill figure out this weekend once Im back in Thunder Bay and have time to sign up.

Not available in North America  :argh!:

If it gets here the trolling opportunities might be worth finally switching to windows though.

Where IS it available? The idea of a Biblical MMO seems distinctly American to me, so I'm curious as to who beat our illustrious nutjobs to the punch.

The games all about building up a tribe of christian people so you can declare war on other tribes of people, just like real life!

HOWEVER, they *do* have a forum, and an area for " Suggestions & Criticism ", apparently, you can "Send in your suggestions and criticism`s, everything is welcome. "

All we need is a yurp proxy server to play though, right?  This might be worth organizing a "guild" or whatever equivalent organizational structure they have.

ETA:  oooh, looky, security holes everywhere.  Apparently so much of it is done client side?
