Title: God of Ants

This fellow has set himself up as god of an ant colony.  I think his descriptions are just a tiny bit over the top, but still quite well done.

I'm pretty sure this guys fucking nuts..  brilliant, but nuts.  Like his videos though, so I guess that says something about my own sanity.

On a related but different note:

more ant coolness

am i the only one that doubts that he actually did this, but rather thought it was just a cool thought experiment that would be fun to pass off as if he actually did it?
not that it's not somewhat clever, but i would think if he actually did this, he would have shown his ant world in more .... clarity.  i mean the engineering aspects alone would prompt him to show it off a bit more.
also, i think the ending would have had more impact if it weren't so.... sharp.  subtlety would have sufficed. presumably his target audience kinda figured out what he's getting at shortly after the premise is put out there.

cute idea, though...  :D

I dont think he intended for anyone to take it seriously. It seemed more like a thought experiment in the first person.

ah.

EITHER:
this is kind of in a mushy zone where if he means it to be taken as obvious tongue in cheek fiction, then it is not clear enough in saying so. and if he means it to be taken as the truth, then it is not convincing enough.

OR:
i'm kind of slow on the uptake....
