Anarchangel fall/winter 2010 shows thus far:
Sunday October 24-
Middle East, Cambridge, MA- Playing Mass Morgue event. Tickets are cheaper if purchased from us before hand. Also helps to get us paid.
Thursday November 4-
Club 58, Quincy, MA- Going on at 10 pm
more dates will be added as they come.
Also, we're recording a 3 song demo in 2 weeks, so you should be able to finally hear us in the near future if you don't live nearby. When it is done, feel free to make as many copies as you desire and give to people who may be interested, or inflict it on people who you hate and know will dislike us. We'll make it available for free download on the internet. Stay tuned.
Sweet. I'll see if I can get free that night.

Awesome- I'll bump the thread a week before each show. Or if I get further info.
Further info for Mass Morgue here:

Basically, you can preorder ticket through link for $10 plus fee
Off of me for $10 without fee
$15 at the door
Preferably buy direct from me, since it benefits both of us.

Thanks man! We were kinda having trouble thinking about what to call ourselves for awhile until I remembered some half written lyrics that included something about an Anarchangel, pitched it, and everyone liked it.
Bump. Tonight. Anarchangel will be in theme costume. There will be mustaches. There will also be pics.
Also, the next show is an even cheaper $5. Will post pic of flyer tomorrow sometime.
Great name Twid, hope the gig goes well. If I was in the area, I'd stick me head round the door, for sure!

It was awesome- a bit crowded up on the stage, since there was a huge glockenspiele next to A Villager. Anyway, there's a video clip of one of our songs (Trojan Horse):

As you can probably tell, we dressed up as The Village People for a theme costume. None of the moustaches would stay on though, except for mine, naturally. You might notice that our keyboardist put hers on the front of it though.
The other bands were awesome, and I got a huge kick out of Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band- they did a cover of NIN's Wish, with horns, an accordion and a banjo

Sounds good. Some of those riffs are very reminiscent of early Sabbath. But you probably know that, right? 8)

That I do :)
Sorry I missed it... In the studio.
Sorry I missed it...in Maine.
I would never have guessed you were supposed to be "The Village People" without you posting it though.

No worries, you're in good hands, like I said. Richard is awesome. If you can make it out to Quincy, even better. Next time you're in the studio, ask him (Richard) about The Shadows Smile. That is 80% of Anarchangel. For TSS I recommend Nosferatu, Bleed Life, and Talking to the Dead (or Tell Tale Heart if you want to hear phaser).

I know dude, we'll come up to Maine if it's feasible. Again, we're supposed to be recording a demo, so hopefully soon, you'll hear more of our stuff. On the youtube link I provided, there are more Anarchangel songs on that channel. It was our live debut, so not as good as this last clip, but you can get a sense of what we do (btw, avoid the clip for "Shoot Out with the Cops". Fun song, but, sound quality is absolute crap).

Glad I pointed it out then. If there was a clearer view of the bassist and drummer it would have been more obvious. Or, if we had a 6th member that dressed up as the Indian. People at the show got it immediately though, probably because it was in person and up close.
ETA: Songs from our first show are: Nightmares, Uninvited (Alanis Morrisette cover with some of the strings on my bass out of tune), Shoot Out with the Cops, Nosferatu (cover from TSS), and Turn Around.
