What's the plan?
GS and I will be joining some friends at another friend's house who apparently lives in a town where kids still go Trick or Treating...by the hundreds. This can only end in tears.
Well, I have two little kids so we'll be hitting the streets for sugary treats. The day before we may be taking a trip to Santa's Village in NH (which has been Halloweenized for the day). Depends on the weather/air-temperature.
What are their costumes?!
My daughter is a Littlest Pet Shop Frog.
The boy is a robot.
My wife is a ray of sunshine. (the costume kind of looks like that sun costume that guy in the Jimmy Dean commercials wears)
She vetoed my idea of her going as a spice rack.
Anything for you?
It looks like we're doing a ridiculous last minute Super Mario Brothers group...In the next week, I have to dye 3 sets of overalls, make hats, and figure out how myself and another girls are going to be Toadstools. She asked about Princess Peach and I told her it was impossible.
halloween parties all weekend.
I'm waiting on a couple of things to come in the mail to help complete my American McGee's Mad Hatter. My lady friend is going as Alice from the same game.
there will be much drinking and making of the merry.
I will be doing nothing except fretting about my first day of wrk, the day after.

I too am a staff of 1. Just remember at work, Reality is what you can get away with. I have been here almost a year and in that time I have given myself my own office with two computers and a TV (the only offices bigger and better belong to the top exec's) and got them to pay me for my time on my commute. Now I just sit and watch netflix or now read this forum waiting for something to happen for me to fix. It is real because I got away with it.
I'm going to my friend's party, but I'm not going to dress up. Because I hate fun, basically. Or maybe just because I'm a lazy asshole, I dunno.
Tim Burton-themed party this weekend, I bought this Jack Skellington Mad Hatter-type hat, and have a Jack Skellington black day dress I can wear on other days than Halloween--so pairing it with fishnet gloves and stockings, tricking out the makeup and wearing false eyelashes...am totally looking forward to it! Pumpkin carving next Friday with adult drinks and kids with knives--real fun!--and then day of just passing out candy and tricks/treats.

sunday doing musical horror movies at the bar. dressing up as characters, getting drunk and singing along.

My friend is throwing a party on Friday night, so I'll probably go to that.
I'm going as old school Two Face, I just need to make me some pants. (and spend 45 minutes doing make up)
