Watch for an impasse on the HHS/Labor/Education appropriations bill that results in the government being shut down, sometime early next year.
YAYYYYY!!!
What's the hastily rationalized justification given reason? I mean, apart from the GOP hating education, labour and medicine?
I'm trying to find said bill, but not having much luck.

It's not been released as a draft yet. It just turns out that I now know a guy that knows a guy.
Wait, what? shut down government?
Should I cheer or cry?
Not as catastrophic as it sounds, but should be good for a larf.
This tickles me to no end!!! :lulz:
I can just see them running around "The sky is falling... the sky is falling"

Actually, it's pretty fucking serious. Nobody that works for the government gets paid, except the military, and nobody gets VA, SSI, any of that shit, because there's no budget.
As usual, it hits people on the low end of the income curve.

It turns out that I am only 2 levels of separation from 2 elected hayseeds. :lulz:

Well, that kind of shutdown, yes. If it's that serious, this should be interesting.
We just had that here in CA. And they tried to keep what little government progress that CAN be made at such gridlock times (read: every fucking year) from happening by putting a measure on the ballot that says CA can't borrow a damned dime to fund its public words side of the economy.
