AGHAGHAGHAGHAGH I'm glad CNN is publishing that guy's opinion. Because sexualizing little kids is fucking sick, and as a parent, it's getting increasingly hard to find clothes for little kids that doesn't look like Stripper Training Club.

I don't have any trouble, but the Midwest tends to be a few years behind the West coast as far as fashion trends go.
I agree that sexy clothes for kids is fucked up, and the parents that dress their kids in it are doing something really wrong.
TODAY
i was waiting for my wife and 6 yr old son to return to our kids school, from a field trip. goofed with my daughter, 8 yr old, - in the meantime. she has some awesome fashion sense. however, it being lunch time and all, segregated (by age/ class) maelstroms were unleashed to get their hot lunches.
FUNNY THING
was all the teenage girls are openly furries. weird? yeah.

People make me want to barf.
BRB, need to find a convertible parked with the top down.
Agreed. "Dress your kid up like a tramp, and wonder why the pedos are following her around."

-Glad she doesn't own a convertible.

I agree, Joy is 11 but she's in women's clothes, hell she's taller than me. I've had an easier time finding non-slutty clothes for her since she's grown than when she was smaller.

No clue where you are shopping but in St. Louis, the trend is ghetto slutty everywhere for little girls.

Nope, they're recruiting fawn, cubs, kids, pups, kits, and I think tadpoles.

My solution was to buy a lot of vintage dresses with ruffles and crinoline and shit like that, because my girls REALLY wanted to dress like girls and would have spent a lot of time resenting me if I hadn't let them.

I've probably told this story but..... one of my favorite memories is of my little tomboy in her cinderella dress, barefoot and at the top of a tree calling out for me to come see her...
I dressed Joy as girly as I could until she outright rebelled. Now it's capris and jeans with vintage t's and sneaks.
LOL my girls just walked in, both dressed head-to-toe in hot pink.
I may not dress like a girl all time (never did, but mom was also a tomboy, and never forced it on us), but I know I am one, and I can pull it off damn fucking good too.

Females don't get hips and bust and whatnot until puberty anyways, so boys clothes are going to fit just as well.

I live in a small town but am in St. Louis once a month, and I've noticed that too. My daughter forgot her bag once and we had to go shopping for her, ended up going to the dollar store and getting her some gender neutral sweatpants and a tshirt. lol

I preferred to wear boy's clothes, but girls who don't might object pretty strenuously to being made to. Mine have opinions on shit like that.

True enough. I suppose I'm just lucky that the dress your kid like a slut trend hasn't really hit here yet and probably won't before my kid is tall enough to wear women's clothes.

There are places you can shop to buy cute, non-slutty clothes... or, as I do, have the girls layer, because a lot of those dresses are not so bad over leggings and a shirt.
