Is there such a food in the USA as "Sesame Snaps"?
Not sure if it would go under that name, basically sesame seeds hardened into cracker-like form. Sometimes with honey.

Those?
Yes! Ok, so they do sell them in the States... I was having a hard time finding a site that would confirm, so I figured it would be quickest to just ask the Americans I know best.
Don't think I've ever seen 'em in a store, but, yeah, apparently they exist here.
Yeah, I've seen them in Hawaii and Portland (PDX). Usually in asian supermarkets or the "international" isle in the store.
I have a recipe for sesame snaps somewhere thats pretty good
Excellent, thank you all!
This is pretty much identical to my recipe
http://www.canadianliving.com/food/sesame_snaps.php
except I add 75 ml of honey instead of 50
and I add a small tea spoon of butter
I love those things!
One of my favorite sweet snacks. You should be able to find them in any good asian market.
Whole Foods has them too.
Love those things, and now I know what they're called in English, toO!
THANK YOU, THIS THREAD
Glad I could help, though personally I wouldn't touch the shit.
:lulz:
this made me laugh way more than it should have
