Season's Greetings and Senseless Beatings
I feel a bit like Odysseus right now. He's dripping wet, lying on his back in the sand, blinking in the sunlight. Is this Ithica? It looks so different.
I'm here to say Hi, give everybody hugs, and get caught up about the upcoming Meatup. The last months have been a very strange personal journey. I wrote about it a bit here (http://23ae.com/2011/05/self-improvement-is-masturbation-but-self-destruction/), if you're curious.
So... What have I missed? In one word or less, please describe the entire Peedy Forum experience of 2011.
With the beating of a thousand horses, my heart takes flight,
DAN
One word?
New. :lulz:
HELLO CRAMULUS
HOW THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
Hullo Cram :D
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v711/Marburger/tombstonethingsfellapart.jpg)
You were away?
Honestly though, you were missed by some. Hope your IRL adventures have been... adventurous.
Nevermind, I read your post. Good for you! It sounds like you've been doing some of that deconstruction of the ego that all those psychologists seem to think is a good idea. :)
I'm kind of engaged in a bit of that too, but I'm going in a different direction. Instead of giving up Discordianism, I'm integrating it into a fuller spiritual (if you want to call it that) of Taoism.
Dildoes.

This sums it up more or less.
It usually does.
'Sup Cram.
The Nessie thread (damn near everyone on the board when batshit writing).
Art of communication, part 1. (I think you'll like the general idea.)
Other than that, same old shit.
Howdy, Cram! :)

Nessie thread, absolutely. http://www.principiadiscordia.com/forum/index.php?topic=28761.0
And all of Roger's rants lately have been high quality. "Voices from the Basement" was particulalry good.
Are we sure Cram has returned? Could not be, instead.....

I originally got into Discordia through Taoism, so I can totally dig the "zen for roundeyes" angle. I think that's how I roll too. I feel like a lot of that stuff is super-useful in figuring out how to relate to this crazy world, but some people need it explained from a more contemporary angle. I guess that's how the Chao Te Ching came to be.

Hey Rog!
I got the message you sent me on facebook about two weeks late. (hadn't logged into my cramulus account in WEEKS). Mea culpa. Hope everything's well with your health, life, the universe, everything. And I hope everything's cool between us too. I have never meant you any disresepct, and if I haven't said it before, I certainly
don't think Discordia would be better off without you. If it was possible to NOT think something LOUDLY, that's where I'd be. :)

Well, I'm going to apologize again, because I really should have dug a lot deeper than I did.
The person that engineered that is on my permanent shit list.
Welcome back, and I hope you plan on hanging around.
Hey Cram. Sum up of the past couple of months in a word- not sure. I don't post as much as I have in the past, mainly due to IRL factors demanding more attention.
:lulz:
Hiya Cram, good to see you around... SPAG!
My recent encounter with the Fnord Model-T "Spagotron" otherwise known as Cramulus this past weekend confirmed that, despite the loss of hair, this is indeed the Cram we all know.
At least mostly; I walked away from that weekend with hardly any nightmares or debilitating injuries, but I did crap blood for two days after. So there have been changes, but only for the better.
 I really do love LARPing with you wenises. You cats have come such a long way in the last year. I hope I didn't piss off KC too much, she seemed kind of put-off by my commander shtick this weekend. Or maybe she was just rattled from her personal plot. Dunno.
RICHTER YOU ASS we missed you, everybody was asking about you.
You bagwads in the massachussets / CT area should really come to Madrigal some time, it's such a blast.
Good to see you, Cram, glad things are going so well.
Huzzah!
:cramstipated:
You have Steve Pavlina hair.
WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN
I suppose this is as good a time as any to announce my habit of putting my laptop on our flat sink top while I'm sitting on the throne.
I literally took a giant dump when I saw this thread. I think it's a good omen.
Welcome back, Danulus.

Welcome back, Danulus.
I've heard stories that that's how Martin Luther got inspired, so if you feel the urge to write you should run with it. Also, welcome back Cram!
Hey Cram!
Glad the 'adventures' are working out for you. (Been doing a lot of that myself lately.)
Cram, you were missed. Glad you are back. I feel the universe righted itself today somehow. :)
