REMINDER: Frost Heaves is playing McGann's pub in North Station this Saturday.
You RI spags said you'd come for a meatup so I could fulfill my holy quest as laid forth by TGRR.
So you fuckers better not let me down.
North Station?
Sorry. I'm allergic to the Bruins.
I think I can actually go to this one. Not closing on Saturday for a change!
Not to mention SCA event. It's Baronial Champions, I have to beat the shit out of Luna and Richter for the sake of wearing a sash.
No Bruins game that night. And you fucks said you'd be there. You fucks.
That was before the Highland Games were announced, damnit. We'd have to go from fucking HOPKINTON to Boston. Not just Providence, no, motherfucking South County. The fucking EDGE OF THE WORLD. And we'd have to drive.
DRIVE.
INTO.
BOSTON.
I'm down, but with no Prov. spags going, I might be shit out of luck for a ride. I'll see what I can do.
bus bus bus bus bus
Holy Hell. Don't make me bump the thread where you promised to all be there.
Fuckers.

I'm in Boston, so I can just go. And I will. Since I told LMNO in person about 6 hours ago that I would. Dimo, I'm willing to cover your commuter rail to and from as long as you pay for the "to" bit. Hell, I have a commuter rail ticket to Providence in my wallet that I didn't use because Eve gave me a lift back to Boston from The Meetup TM.
Where you sleep, however, I absolve myself from.

Last train out of South Station is at 11:50 I believe. So if it's after that, he has to wait until 2am to take the Peter Pan, and by that time, the MBTA stops running because they SUCK.
Fortunately, you CAN walk from North Station to South Station in about 15 minutes.

Happens A LOT in winter. But, you know, with multiplication thrown on top. And that's just to go about 2 miles.
93 is always a nightmare regardless, and sometimes you have to take that to get to 95.

I mostly rely on the MBTA, so my findings are based off of the whole "just as slow, less expensive" observation.
Ok, seriously. 95N to 93N, South Station off ramp, Atlantic ave. Use the Aquarium parking garage. You're now a five minute walk from the club.

So, in order to make this show, we would have to leave South County by no later than 5. It will take us an hour to get back to Providence, because it just does. So, as long as we shower/change/eat/shit whatever the fuck we have to do and are out the door by 7, we can get to Boston by 8, which allows us the approximate hour to find parking on a Saturday night.
This can be done. It may require folding space and me videoing Richter losing his shit at the wheel, but it CAN be done.

Well, that and the fact that the Interstate doesn't go all the way up. AND there are some especially shitty portions of the Interstate north of Bangor.
Okay I'm hopping on a flight at 9pm Alaska time. That'll put it at 3am Boston, with 10 hours of travel time give or take, I'll be arriving at 11am Sunday at Logan.
