I'm going to do it.
I'm going to watch the series finale of Enterprise.
I know it sux.
I know it had so much potential.
But some how I need to see Frakes and Sirtis ruin a series more than the shittiest of shitty intro songs for a series that deserved, so, so, so much more, RIGHT NOW.
Twid,
Actually thinking that with the right marketing and story-lines that Enterprise had the potential to be the best Trek....
sigh.
Ok, Commander Riker, show me the advice that you needed from Captain Archer and his dog........ (damn you wikipedia for making me want to see the origin of the Federation)
I'm already angry.
Damn you Riker!
Don't
do
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
actually...do it for Science. Capital S.

I'm already part way through. Having a clove to deal.
One thing that I really liked about Enterprise is that they dealt with not just Humans and Vulcans, but also Andorians and Tellarites. All four of those are the founding members of the Federation, and in this story line, prior to the Federation. I like the back story. And honestly, I find myself partial to the Andorians Don't know why, but they are severely underepresented in all other series. I understand that blue makeup gets expensive, but damn. Great back story!
Also, the Xindi are mentioned but not shown, in TNG.
WHY IS SHRAAN'S DAUGHTER AQUAMARINE INSTEAD OF BLUE-ISH?!?!?! ANDORIANS ARE EITHER BLUE AND SIGHTED OR WHITE AND BLIND!
Halfway through.... continuing
"TELL T'POL I LOVE HER OR SOME SHIT LIKE THAT...."
GRRRRRR.....
I.... JUST... FINISHED WATCHING....
:crankey: :crankey: :crankey: :crankey: :crankey: :crankey: :crankey:
I'm sorry. If you're going to have a build up like that...
And you're going to have Trip (Charles Tucker III, not that fucking Eurospag we know), arguably the best character of the series, just fucking die....
And the beginning of the Federation happen with this one EPIC SPEECH.....
YOU BETTER NOT CUT THE EPISODE SHORT WITH A "OK I KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO SAY TO PICARD, LET'S GET THE FUCK OFF THE HOLODECK" WHEN ARCHER IS GOING TO GIVE THE BIG OLD EPIC, "HEY I MIGHT AS WELL BE THE FOUNDER OF THE MOTHER FUCKING UNITED MOTHERFUCKING FEDE-FUCKING-RATION OF MOTHERFUCKING PLANETS SPEECH TO ALL THE MOTHERFUCKING FOUNDING SPECIES OF THE MOTHERFUCKING FEDERATION." I MEAN, FOR FUCK'S SAKE!
I WANT TO HEAR THAT MOTHERFUCKING FUCKING SPEECH!!!!!!
In other words, while I think that the finale had a lot of potential, it....
....fell short.
I never really got past the intro tune, TBH.

I never really got past the intro tune, TBH.
I've stated, more than once, that the intro music was NOT Star Trek music, and that hosed the series.
It was an awful theme tune
They had to use music that was appropriate for the time period.
What? You think they had brass instruments and whooshing sounds in the 22nd century?
They should have used the "Picard Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6oUz1v17Uo&feature=related)".

Link... Clicking on links is bad...
But it's Cain... and Star Trek... How bad can it be?

You begged for this.

Star trek ended with Deep space nine. It's time to move on.
To compensate for the "Picard Song" and bring the thread back to "win".
