AKA: Suu gloats that Boston blew it and the Rays rallied from a 7 point deficit to win in 12 innings.
Also...CARDS?!
Hey, the Sox won the World Series twice in my life so far. That's more than what some Sox fans get.

And that's more than Cubs fans will ever get. :lulz:
I believe there's one whose colours are purple and yellow. That's fabulous and I'm rooting for that one.

There's that too.
Twid,
Likes the Sox. Hates game days at Fenway.
I've concluded that the motorists who attempt to drive through that mess on a game day are all sado-masochists. Unless I was on fire or something and needed to go to the hospital I wouldn't even think of going near that clusterfuck with a car.

Sometimes you forget. Especially when you don't have a car and don't drive very often.
Villager picked me up in the Longwood Medical Area to go to practice in Somerville a couple of weeks ago.
She doesn't follow baseball, and I had forgotten. Whoops.
I don't know why anybody is either happy or upset that their team either earned or lost the right to be utterly destroyed by either the Rangers or the Tigers.
With Philly at the end of the tunnel if they DO make it past Texas or Detroit. :argh!:
Nobody (including Philly) is making it past Detroit.
I was invited by my friend in Philadelphia to come down for a WS game if we get that far.
I'm pretty sure that's a sure fire way for me to meet my death. I hate Boston fans, but Philly fans are a different breed of fucking insane.
Nah, Philly fans make sense, and are thus safely predictable. They're just pissed at a lifetime of being underclass nobodies in some downtrodden and disrespected mid-atlantic dungheap and being louts at the stadium or in the sports bar on sunday is a relatively safe way for them to blow off steam. Boston fans have a weird way of being heavily ego-invested in their sports teams, which I'm surprised hasn't already caused a sports-related version of some "school shooting"-type incident.
:lulz:
That Wild Card race between the Sox and the Rays was insane. I'm not a terribly big fan of baseball (I usually just watch the playoffs), but even I was jumping out of my seat and shouting when the Sox lost at literally the last second and three minutes later the Rays won. What a great night to be a sports fan.
Even though my local team is in the playoffs (Rangers), I'll be cheering for Detroit. I think they'll win it all... if they can beat the Phillies.

WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT THE PHILLIES I COULDN'T HEAR YOU
Ahem.
Yeah. I'm not a big Phillies fan. Naturally I want the Rays to win, but the Phil pitching staff is fucking godly.
Also, one needs to understand that my friend has it on video, a drunken rant of mine, in which I go off and state that I would willingly be DP'd by James Shields and Cole Hamels. So, due to blackmail, I can't NOT go against the Phillies unless they're playing the Rays.
If the postseason so far is any indication, that Phillies-Rays match up just might happen. 6-0 at the top of the fourth. You're doing great, Rangers. :x
Whazzat?
WHAZZAT?!
9-0?!
Also, sorry about your loss, Boston.
No really, losing Francona fucking sucks. I sincerely dislike.
I'm bumping this thread for no other reason than to remind everyone how shitty my picks are every year.
Oh and...
