Be sure to watch the video.
It's kinda cute and kinda terrifying.
:horrormirth:
Actually, reading the discussion on HN, it's not that bad, and pretty cool:

It's more a matter that one-year-olds will try anything and everything, there's in fact nothing in the video that actually indicates she thinks it's "broken".
The more amazing thing of course is that the iPad and touchscreen technology is the first time in history that one year olds can actually meaningfully interact with a real computer.
... if you can afford one, that is.
Check the thread, really.
SMALL CHILDREN ARE FAMILIAR WITH TECHNOLOGY
END TIMES!!!!!
True. The fact that a one-year-old can interact with it in a meaningful way could end up having some sort of impact on early childhoos development and learning and shit.

Well, yeah, given that - to a one year old - an Ipad would just be another toy that does something when they mess with it, which is a one year old's idea of heaven.

Cryptogon?
His overreactions on shit like this are pretty lulzy
Yeah, that's the one. I'm surprised he didn't add his "rise of the machines" tag as well.
God knows, I love how Kevin pays attention to the mainstream media and reports on things like the drugs trade, financial corruption, military and surveillance technology etc. But when he gets on his "rise of the machines" and "kill off" kicks, he can be quite embarassing.
I am fairly certain I have seen small children and babies behaving in that same manner with magazines and books before the advent of touch screen devices.
But I could just be taking crazy pills.
