Title: One thing to remember about LMNO
Post by: The Good Reverend Roger on November 22, 2011, 09:00:13 PM
Is that WE AMERICANS have 6,400 nuclear weapons, and he only has three.

There's really no need to be afraid of him, unless you live within driving distance of Boston.

Rumor is, he also has a Long March Rocket, but the Chinese deny selling it, and Mrs LMNO isn't telling.

The south coast of Massachusetts hasn't seen a glory day since it harpooned its last gentle sea giant.  We're a region that gets by.  That's exceedingly good at getting by, really.  Some of that has to do with just an old fashioned stubborn work ethic.  We're workers around this way, whether its hard labor or just an office job, we really go at it.  It helps us forget the other reason we don't kill each other.  It helps us forget The Presence.

I really shouldn't be saying anything.  We don't talk about it and we certainly don't tell outsiders about it.  The last thing we need is to disrupt our muted, sepia toned heaven with reporters or glory seekers or the sort that's attracted to stories.  Sure it's fun to see the brave tremble.  Of course the next whore for fame deserves exactly the sort of thing that comes to them.  When you get a malevolent force rising in your neighborhood, feel free to go at it however you'd like.  Me, I'm going to live.

It sounds like drums.  They don't rumble your heart or shake your spine like a big subwoofer, they don't loosen up your brain stem like some rock show.  They hammer at your psyche.  Ever seen that infamous viral video?  This guy's having what looks like a breakdown.  He's screaming and clawing in a heap on the pavement.  People just walk by him, pretending he's not there?  That neighborhood took a lot of shit after that one.  It's easy to judge that kind of behavior when you don't see it everytime those drums start up.

Anyway I'm not afraid of LMNO's nukes.  I'm afraid of his drumsticks.

Nuking Providence would be doing Boston a favor, that's why we have the patented protective bubble, which is generated from the towers of the Mt. Hope and Pell Bridges. The only caveat is that if the wind blows the right way, the bubble covers Fall River, but it's a small price to pay so that we can remain on the map and remind Patriot fans that the team belongs to us by proximity of Foxboro, and not Boston.

...and as I type this, fireworks go off downtown for Providence's 375th birthday celebration.

Ohhhh no you don't, I'm not falling for that one.  Not after I said at the meatup "yeah too bad I missed the last one and couldn't hang out with LMNO" and was greeted by the 1000-yard stare.  By five different people (Cram, oddly, just drooled excessively).

Couldn't handle it or did they drop it?

I should probably run now except I live really far away from our beloved LMNO.  :lulz:

Cram, oddly, just drooled excessively.

The whole. fucking. weekend. We tried stuffing his throat with toilet paper, but it just kept on gushing. It was like a torrential flooding, ground hogs crawled out of their nests because they'd drown otherwise, the whole area was getting submerged, we had to tie him down at at the ground floor, firehose/mouth pointed down, while the rest of us went upstairs in search for higher ground. Then there was this sound, like a rumbling, it started slowly and got louder, it was like an army of 7000 bass-baritone opera singers all belching at the same time. We saw ground slowly receding below us, while the gaseous jet erupted from his throat. I am not sure if it was on fire, but it was somehow glowing. The house was airborne.

And that is how we flew around and got everybody home safely.

Afterwards, Cramulus said he felt much better after a glass of warm milk. Everybody else sort of kept their distance.

The ground hog stew that night was really fantastic.
