I've never seen a $1000 textbook. (I have seen my fair share of $200+ ones, but fortunately, I tend to be good at finding them on the cheap). :lulz:
I think this was a textbook concerning Russian medieval law. It's about 3000 pages long and printed about 40 years ago by an out of business publisher. Only a few copies exist.
