Starting now. Go!
MAIL ME SHIT. You have my address already. :lulz:
ALSO WHERE ARE MY DAMN CDS? :argh!:
Im wondering that myself. Working on it. Not at the moment since im not home. But soon.
Nigel will be receiving something in a few days.
I will be mailing something for dok on monday. I will simultaneously be thinking of something to mail to garbo and dingo.
And net. Also i came up with an idea. If enough spags from around the world want me to mail them something im going to start up a side project where i mail everyone the same t shirt which they will wear or have someone it fits wear while doing something, after which on the back they will put the date the location and the spag(s) in that city it was mailed to like a band tour shirt. Pictures wearing the shirt while doing the thing and possible staining a plus. Wash the shirt send it back and ill send it off to the next spag.
Oh and if you want you can start making a collaborative picture on the front that each spag adds to. Only thing is it has to be safe for work.
DUDE. YES.
Awesome! Send me your address o Twid my Twid.
Waffle iron.
My address has been given to dingo waffle iron and nigel. Nigel because what i sent does not have my return address on it for reasons that will be understood when she receives what i sent.

T-shirt Tour Twenty-Twelve!
Lets see, so I have:
Nigel
Dok
Net
Garbo
Placid Dingo
Waffle Iron
Phox
Cram
Which, of course also gives us 3 continents. If I can get another 5+ locations I'll snag a white t-shirt and get that ball rolling and see who else out of that list would want to participate. I'll hit up Cram on Facebook sometime during the week, I think he'd be down with this sort of thing.

Ooooh! I like this a LOT. It might save you money if each spag mails it to the next spag directly, though.
And when it gets to Portland, we can pass it around like the camp whore.
Oh thats excellent! Yeah theres a bunch of you so you could just hand it off to each other
Cram's on board for the t-shirt thing and I have his address now. So I'll be sending him stuff anyway, and that brings the t-shirt thing one city closer to happening.

Portland, OR
Tucson, AZ
Fresno, CA
Queensland, Australia
Røyken, Norway
Zeigler, IL
Tarrytown, NY
Not bad. Portland, Fresno and Tarrytown are interested in the T-Shirt idea. Can I get confirmation from the other areas? Also, can we get more American and European cities? Australia (as a continent)= would Rumckle and Paes be interested?
Might as well call it Oslo at the same time. I live 45 minutes outside. I can bring the shirt to Oslo and draw something on it in Frognerparken. :lulz:

Make it Øslø? Or, you know Oslo/Røyken. I also live near Åros and Sætre. All three scandospagian letters at once!
As far as Europe goes, can we get a Scotland, England, Ireland and Netherlands? I would try for Bulgaria too but I don't know how often Dalek is on.

Well in that case, even though Jamaica Plain is in Boston, lets say I live in Boston-Brookline-Newton, zipcode 02XYZ
Also, all the people who have given me their addresses will receive my current one, since it might be some time since they get something with a return address on it.

Ok, as far as I know everyone whose address I have now has mine. Speak up if that is not the case.
Also, Phox, Dok, Richter, Luna, Suu, Gogira, LMNO, Coyote and Eve have my phone number, but that's a different thing entirely.
I'll do the tshirt thingy.

Mail going out to Dok today.
Follow up mail going to Nigel today.
I know what I'm going to send next. I'm tempted to send it overseas, but I'm a little more confident that it will actually get there if sent to another place in the United States. :lulz:
Oh! And when you receive something, feel free to post content/pictures.
Garbo will be the next recipient. It will probably go out on Saturday.
I have decided what to send Net but not the content of the correspondence.

I sent something from Newport, RI on Saturday and a follow up to it from Boston yesterday. The one from Newport will likely arrive tomorrow or Saturday, I imagine.
Being in Newport actually sparked this thread, you were the first to respond with an address. I had Phox's and Dok's back in Boston somewhere,. but obviously couldn't access it.
That reminds me, not everything will be leaving from Boston. New England isn't a terribly large place and I may wander across state lines intentionally.
SQUEAKING WITH JOY!

SQUEAKING WITH JOY!
I'll have to think of something a little more creative for you and Dok next time, but it was a good start at any rate.
Also fucking bump.
Since Garbo's mail has been sitting in my bag for weeks and the humor is slightly dependent on my mailing it before I have a residence, I will be mailing it out on Monday. I got a couple of good leads, and seemingly a guaranteed situation otherwise once the details are worked out (kinda throws a kink in things actually, but I'll take whatever I can get first) and I accept.
Also, feel free to post what you receive. Unless you don't want to and then it's cool.
Also, Nigel, Suu filled me in on the pineapple thing. It symbolizes welcoming and hospitality or something. Even though the New England climate guarantees that pineapples cannot grow in Rhode Island.
Do you need NL addresses still? I didn't follow this project too closely because I feared I'd get tarded with sending it on, but then again being the middle of some chain is probably good for peer-pressure which tends to work quite well in such situations. It'd probably be smartest if the Europe part (NO, UK, NL, ... DE possibly) is a contiguous part of the chain. Even easier if I can just send (or hand) it over to Sjaako or Regret :P
Anyway what exactly would I need to do, again?
If you trust Miss PurpleEris you could even add Turkey to the list :) ... which reminds me, is Ratatosk still in Turkey?
For Germany, there's one or two spags from a German Discordian forum that occasionally pop in, and St Verbatim who lives near Leipzig afaicr. In Austria we only got W*ltb*rger, so fuck that.
Oh! And DALEKK is from Bulgaria, but I dunno where he's been lately. Hope he's doing well with all the shit he got at home.
Yeah man as many addresses as possible. I forget what purple eris is like other than her thread makes my head throb but if she seems pretty decent thats cool w me. As for what needs be done ill detail on sunday.

Nah, it was just me being in an inconvenient place to check it- since the PO Box is a bit of a regressive move from work in relation to Villager's. I happened to be there on banking terms anyway today. The fortunate thing is that my current residence is on the same subway line that will take me to Jamaica Plain, no transfers or anything. I'm just further North. So, I should be able to check my mail once a week at this point instead of allowing a month long gap.
I like your name btw. It's a delightful Anglo-Irish combination.

Also, I'm home, so I'll pop in the CD now. I enjoyed the other goodies. I was giggling like a mad bastard on my way out of the post office. I glanced at the weird stamp and was a little spooked because your handwriting bears some superficial similarities to an Irish relative. I was confused for about 3 seconds until I saw that the stamp said Australia.
What's the Japanese on the rubber stamp mean, incidentally?
Got some bad news.
The CD seems to have gotten damaged in transit. I didn't notice until my comp refused to read it. Would you like to email me the files and I can post a pic of the wounded soldier?
I might need a pic of the stamp, I don't remember. Did you still have my address btw?
I'll do a zip of the songs I threw together. Gmail limits the size of files. Where's a good place to upload it?

I have the address, yes. Soundcloud is pretty good for upload/download. Do you still have the CDGASM login info?
I do. Some of the CDgasm tracks double up- forgot about that.
I'll jump on that.

Compression and/or Normalization.
Is there a particular program that will help me there?
I have home recording software that i should muck around with and get better at. Its called audacity incidentally and is freeware. They have compression and normalization in the program. It just crashes a lot.
Audacity 2.0 came out a couple of months ago, it doesn't crash a lot anymore, in my experience.
Lol- ok ill have to download it.
I'll try that, ta.
