Is this digital, or did someone actually construct those?

I think they were actually assembled. Also I just noticed that the models were made by a company two of my other friends work for! Cool!

Portland is the smallest town ever.

That's kind of awesome.  In construction, it reminds me of the giant Goddamn dinosaurs someone built over on contractor's way.

Well, I guess it's a good reason to go back to Tucson.

AS IF I NEED AN EXCUSE.

HAR!  You're still in Tucson.  Nobody leaves Tucson.  It's just that you're on the other end of town, is all.

Could be worse.

Outside of Tucson, this is one of the nation's leaders.

If you've been to Tucson, you're STILL in Tucson, because the alternatives are just too awful.

Telling most Tucsonans about other cities is like talking to a dog about the concept of pants, and trying to make him see how not having access to his own balls would be a good thing.

LAIKA does great work.

They really really do! Very meticulous. My friends who work there are sculptors who do character modeling, so it's neat that every time I see  a movie I can be all "which ones did you make? Huh? Huh?"
