So, first off, this woman decides to take a scooter up an escalator, which is pretty damn stupid.
Then, she seems to have no problem standing up - I mean, it's possible, if you have some sort of degenerative disease like MS, but...
Who the hell is filming this in the first place? The picture's pretty steady, so I figured it was just a security cam, until it started panning up with her....
She is incredibly lucky... I wonder what the hell made her try to ride a scooter up an escalator?
Lots of disabled people are able to stand and walk, just with great pain. She could have a degenerative joint disease or something like that.
That's a T stop.
There are elevators at T stops for wheelchairs and such.

Exactly. It's just...
I mean, maybe it was Park Street? The elevators there smell like bum pee.

I figured that that's probably what's going on, but it's just really weird in combination with everything else.
And yeah, she's lucky as hell. She could have broken her neck or gotten her clothes caught in the thing.
It definitely looks like Park Street. But still! That's a dangerous station because you have the island with tracks on both sides. I'd risk the pee smell.

Yeah, holding your breath for a couple of minutes, while uncomfortable, is better than risking paralysis.
Betcha a dollar she tries to sue the MBTA.
And another dollar she's on psych meds. The wrong psych meds, from the looks of this. :x

But then MBTA won't be able to afford all those projects that no one gives a crap about instead of improving existing service! :lulz:

Everything happens for a reason!
Also, after much debate on Facebook, the station in question has been identified as Broadway.
BECAUSE THESE THINGS MATTER.
Well yeah if you want to make jokes about southie
