Judge orders FDA to make morning-after pill available to all ages (http://www.boston.com/news/source/2013/04/reports_judge_o.html)
QuoteA federal judge ruled Friday that the government must make the most common morning-after pill available over the counter for all ages, instead of requiring a prescription for girls 16 and younger. In his ruling, he also accused the federal government of "bad faith" in dealing with the requests to make the pill universally available.

HOLY SHIT
In a sea of madness, one judge has some fucking humanity and a sense of fairness?
$10 he gets a dozen death threats by the end of the day.

Why wait? I bet he's already gotten at least a dozen.
Good point.
Given his case history, which includes overseeing the payment of funds due to Jewish families from Swiss banks (who made a fortune off the Holocaust), I don't think he's going to be intimidated by "pro-life" mouthbreathers very much.
That's good. We need more like him.
STOP! STOP! WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?
And here I was thinking this was going to be a Missy Elliott thread
On a more serious note, it is nice to hear some good news on medical/social issues like this instead of seeing everyone screaming past to see who can reach the dark ages first (I know things aren't THAT bad, and overall things seem to be moving forward (I hope), but still...)
