Question:
What kind of baked goods do you want to celebrate the drug thread hitting 75 pages?
Option 1: CAKE!

Option 2: Brownies

Option 3: Apricot Bastards
votes: 8
Option 4: Zero Structural Integrity Peanut Butter Cookies

Option 5: Random Grab Bag

So, since that thread started up again, what do folks want shipped out in celebration once we hit page 75? Anyone who's interested should pipe in with allergy information and PM a shipping address.
QG is in no way responsible for any violence that occurs as a result of the receipt or consumption of baked goods
While I appreciate your efforts, I cannot help but express my reluctance to include peanut butter because it is EVIL DEATH.
ETA: This is, of course, based on my personal principles.
I am too far away for cake.
I kind of want Apricot Bastards, but I voted RANDOM GRAB BAG because that sounds like fun!
OBJECTION!
Why is "Pie" not an option?

I'm nervous about shipping pies. To be fair, I'm also nervous about shipping cake, but I did mention cake when I started on this adventure, so it would be mean not to include it.

Yes.
have to go with random grab bag.
i'm a sucker for surprises. :)
I liek apricots
I voted "Random Grab Bag", but if it's more work to make random stuff than a bunch of one thing, consider my vote Apricot Bastards. :)
Voted peanut butter cookies, but either they'll start a revolution at the post office on their way to Norway, or the customs bastards will eat them, or I'll get a fine.

If you can check the legal issues on your end, USPS is fine shipping baked goods out internationally. I just double checked on their site and it's the same basic restrictions as domestic (has to be able to reasonably survive the shipping process without rotting).
We still have a few pages to go, but I've only gotten one shipping address so far. EVERYONE MUST PAY FOR OUR DRUG THREAD.
Can't things sit in customs for months sometimes before they decide to give it to you?

It's rare, but it can happen.
Should work without much problems, if it's just cake. However I suspect that Zero Structural Integrity Peanut Butter Cookies will, if they live up to their name, not deal with transportation very well.

I know how to package them properly to survive transit.
As far as sitting in customs for 6 months, that's beyond what can "reasonably" be expected for transport, so it's my understanding that no one would be in trouble for things going bad under those conditions. I will double check with the post office in person if anything ends up being shipped overseas, I wouldn't want anyone getting fined over cookies.
Or shot.
BAMP FOR VICTORY
Grab Bag WILL INCLUDE Apricot Bastards if it wins. Voting will close when I'm done cleaning my kitchen and start baking (sometime tonight or tomorrow).

Finally! REAL evidence that CAEK is superior to PAH.
Baking update:
Holy fuck I just spent way more than I meant to at the grocery store. We're gonna be eating baked goods for MONTHS.
Also, Alty is the only one who has so far said anything about peanut allergies, and he hasn't sent me a shipping address yet. If I don't have anyone with peanut allergies to worry about, I will be more lazy about good separation practices. So, basically, ALTY SHOULD SEND ME A PM IF HE DOESN'T WANT DEATH COOKIES.
Let me know if you need me to send ya a 5-spot or something to neutralize some of your costs.
Thank you, Octa-girl.

These things look like meringue KKK members.
Only allergy is mushrooms, which, if you are putting in baked goods, I do not want, anyway. :vom: Addy being PM'd.
So, shipping is not going to be cheap. If anyone would like to pitch in, paypal's greggatghc@gmail.com. I'm hoping to send things out tomorrow.

USPS wants $60 for the flat rate box, I'm gonna poke around for some cheaper options.
Oh shit! I'll see if I gots anything in my bank account.
Just to be clear, $60 is the crazy shipping to Norway rate, not the domestic one.
Alty's nut-free box is all packed up, and there's even some nut-free bastards in there!
