QuoteThe Air Force official in charge of its sexual-assault policies was arrested for groping, authorities said Monday.
Lt. Col. Jeff Krusinski, 41, was removed from his position as head of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office pending an investigation, a senior defense official said.
The incident happened just after midnight Sunday when a drunken Krusinski allegedly approached the woman in a parking lot in Arlington, Va., and grabbed her breasts and buttocks, according to a police report.
Police said the woman fought off her assailant and scratches can be seen on Krusinski's face in his mug shot. He was charged with sexual battery.
He didn't show up for work today and would not talk to colleagues about the incident, the senior official said.
His arrest comes as the U.S. military grapples with sexual assault in its ranks. The Air Force recently came under fire when a commander reversed a guilty verdict in a sexual assault case.
Is it just a coincidence in the stories I happen to see, or does the US Air Force really have a worse problem with sexual assault/harassment than the other branches (which aren't exactly perfect either, from what I gather)?
Also has a serious problem with religious assaults too. Atheists, Jews and Muslims all report routine harassment within Air Force ranks.

It's a toss up between the Air Force and the Navy as worst, with the Army coming next and the Marines doing the best.

Yes. Yes they do. Because they also have the highest double standard followed by the Navy, but at least the USAF allows women to work with men. The Navy does not, under pretense that the idea of a woman showering and sleeping in the same quarters as a man is completely unacceptable because Americans as a whole are fucking prudes. They aren't wrong. Women are allowed on submarines for most nations EXCEPT the United States. You could imagine my boyfriend's reaction when he saw women on a visiting Australian sub.
Suu
Smacked the fuck out of someone once, but does admit her ass did look sweet in her dress blue skirt back in the ol' AFROTC daze.
Oh, America! Keeping it classy.

A buddy of mine ranted about this whenever he got time to call home from Afghanistan. Apparently things were highly Jesus - based. He got shit for not wanting to join pre - patrol prayer. Not that he wasn't Christian, he just didn't believe in praying for help shooting people.
Yeah, the nuts make life hard for the more moderate Christians too. Those who are actually considerate of others beliefs have to walk on eggshells, for fear of being mistaken for one of the idiots. And the pressure to join things like prayer groups led by the nuts etc is apparently pretty high.
