Here are three interesting things that have come to my attention.
One Story (http://www.one-story.com) - One short story shipped every three weeks. No ads. No distractions. Just one story. Seems pretty cool. I'm going to give it a whirl. 15 stories a year. $21.
YarnBox (https://yarnbox.com) - Monthly or every-other-monthly shipment of yarn, notions, and some small extras. OMG YARN. $33 - $39 a month, depending on payment options. They do not ship overseas yet, Pix. Sorry.
Graze (http://www.graze.com/us) - $5 for a box of four different snacks, shipping included. Ships every other week, pay per box. Roomie gets these and the boxes are really varied. Takes an invite code, though. I just signed up using roommate's so if it looks like something you really want to try, lemme know. Each person who signs up only gets one invite code to use at this time. Currently continental USA only.

I would very much like an invite code for Graze!

RAWK! :)
I'm going to do the One Story thing, it looks pretty cool. And when I get money I'm going to give the yarn box a whirl. Me lovey the yarn. Especially if they hook up with Madelinetosh, Malabrigo, or Wollmeise. That'd be amaze-balls.
I joined and now have an invite code for Graze, if anyone here wants one!
Graze just seems like the perfect solution to my ongoing problem of finding myself at school without a snack and blowing $1.25 in the vending machine for something shitty that I don't even really want.

Agreed. :)
Slowly going through and clicking "trash" on the low-calories snacks. 50 calories? USELESS.
I axed the pistachios and the spicy stuff. Can't eat 'em. But the nori cracker things were good. I tried one of those. I just can't eat hot stuff much.
Anything with the dark chocolate is good. Those flapjack do-hickeys are pretty awesome.
I love all spicy. I got rid of the unflavored seeds and everything with walnuts.
I decided to keep the low-calorie in case any of it was just so tasty I can't live without it.
Holy shit I got my first box today and tried the honeycomb flapjack first. Rolled oats with honey and a tiny drizzle of milk chocolate. So. Goddamn. Good.
I got mine yesterday! I put it in my backpack for eating between classes Tuesday.

Sweet! :D My other bits are an apple crumble, cheddar crackers and pretzel bits, and 'florentine' which is apparently dark Belgian chocolate, pumpkin seeds, and cranberries. Saving those for another time. The flapjack bits are pretty filling.
Can I get in on the Graze thing?
If Nigel still has her invite code, surely!
WOO!
There's another version sort of thing like Graze called Goodies Co or something. $7 a month. Powered by Wal-Mart. Tried one box just to see what was up. It was all gross tasting stuff that said "Free samples not intended/labeled for resale." Complete waste of time, if you were wondering.
I'm not actually all that impressed with Graze either, to tell the truth.

Yeah, I like the flapjack bits but their 'savory' selection isn't particularly appetizing. Maybe things'll change when they expand their selection some.
We've been doing okay on graze, but the dried fruit is really "meh" so far. The kids like the pistachios, but we can get that cheaper at the store.
