LOBB is HELL reformatting. 120 chapters, each of which Word has decided has to be individually word wrapped, it accepts the HTML format more or less at random, and paragraph breaks are something that happens to other people.
Note to self: Write new stuff in Word, convert to HTML while posting.
Hell in a Dry Place is coming along. I haven't posted any of it yet, because I need to change the names of two of the characters for copyright reasons. Expect a revision and re-posting sometime later this week (I am going to spend the 4th on this), probably Friday.
The other story, the cop story, is also being revised, and the first 5 chapters should be posted early next week.
Holy shit, that sounds like a huge pain in the ass!
Looking forward to more Hell, though.

I'm going to edit it Thursday, nuke the original thread, then repost the revised version.
I am going to split your stuff out into another thread, and then respond with some of the things we talked about...Because your post is too Goddamn awesome for the rubbish bin.

Coolio!
Very much looking forward to more Hell, that thing's off to a great start.
Looking forward to see how this all turns out.
What browser are you using? Firefox has a few mods which allow for you to copy text directly, meaning HTML and web artifacts are no longer an issue.
Failing that you can also "decant" by pasting into notepad first then copy and paste to word from there.
Using Open Office works good for keeping formatting.
Quite honestly I haven't used Word in years.
I was gonna write tonight, but GOD IS HAVING A TANTRUM, so I'm shutting off before power spike.
SURGE PROTECTOR AND DAMN THE TORPEDOS
Are you trying to get LOBB from PD into Word maintaining similar formatting to that it has on PD?

I had a minute so, in case turning the LOBB thread into a word document was your aim, I had a go at it.
I have everything from that thread in Word, italics/bold/spacing maintained. What's the correct order of events? This is from my table of contents, so ignore the page number on the end of each line. I'll flick a copy of this through to wherever you like, Dok, if your copy isn't different enough from the PD version to make my formatting redundant.

Also, starting the new series today.

Might want to consolidate CPD's stuff, Paes. In arc 2.

Oh, yeah, expecting that. That's why I'm starting the story today. There won't be much else to do.
