You know, this reminds me of something my father, uncle and I used to do.  We'd divide a paper into three parts.  One person would draw a head and then extend the neck into the middle section.  Then the second person would draw the torso without looking at the previously drawn head. When the torso was complete that person would extend the waist into the third section and the third person would draw in the legs and feet (if they, were, in fact, feet and legs at all) without looking at the rest of the drawing.

When complete, we'd open it up to see the kind of monster we've created.
