the thing that pisses me off about Bronies is that the fandom is kinda unsafe for it's target audience.

Glad I don't have a wee lassie wanting to search google for MLP stuffs. hell even as a kid my uber-tomboy ass liked MLP stuffs.

I feel like there's a lot of (intentional or unintentional) ignoring the difference between bronies and the clop-clop crowd. There are guys who enjoy that shit non-sexually, and the assumption that every brony is into it from a creepy sexual angle really just plays into the MEN ARE SEXUAL ANIMALS WHO CAN'T CONTROL THEMSELVES thing that contributes to all sorts of ugliness in culture. Yeah, there are gross guys who are into ponies like that, but there are guys who fap to Lisa Simpson and you don't see folks accusing every Simpsons fan of being a cartoon fetishist.

This is a good analysis. Bronies are kinda cute and harmless, for the most part. The clop-dudes, not so much.

All of my kids are. My son freely admits to being a brony, although at 13 I'm not sure he qualifies as an "adult".
