So I caught the podcast bug...
So far I've subscribed to:
- Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
- Nightvale Radio
- WTF with Marc Maron
- StarTalk Radio (NGT)
- Hak5
- Thrilling Adventure Hour
Now i'm open to damn near anything and would love to hear about what you like as well.
Savage Love
If you have the time, Kevin Smiths stable of podcasts aren't bad.
This American Life (NPR)
What I'm listening to:
Judge John Hodgman
Savage Love
Welcome to Night Vale
and 1950s sci fi radio plays: X MINUS ONE
https://archive.org/details/XMinus1_A
2 that I never miss an episode of:
The Adam Carolla Show
The BS Report
If you are a fan of Adam Carolla like me you would probably enjoy:
Ace on the House
the Adam & Dr. Drew Show (Similar to the old Loveline days, but with less calls. And not as good.)
The Bugle, featuring John Oliver and some other British guy.
Thanks and thanks!
Although I have to admit I'm not a fan of Adam Carolla at all--I still appreciate the contribution!
The Bugle...so it's a new podcast--this sound interesting...I'm don't think I have too much on the way of news on my list.
I think it's great, because it's from the UK, and a UK-centric POV. I especially like the "Ask an American" segment.
I listen to a whole bunch, these are my current favs:
• Harmontown
• Marek vs. Wyshynski
• WTF W/ Marc Maron
• Hardcore History W/ Dan Carlin
• Psychedelic Salon
• How Did This Get Made
• NPR: Fresh Air
• Nerdist
• Fatman on Batman
• Smodcast
• Nerdist Writer's Panel
• Philosophize This!
• This American Life
• Welcome to Night Vale
• Let's Talk Comics
• Common Sense W/ Dan Carlin
ooo thanks!
How the holy fuck do you listen to all of those?

I work long hours as a graphic designer. My eyeball hours are pretty well spoken for, but my ears are wide open.

So much better than talk radio during a 45-minute commute to work. Plus, there are no traffic reports so sometimes I hit a wreck and get to listen to 2 episodes.
