Sometimes rock bands get me to draw up posters for them.  Or, more specifically, THIS band did:

NIIIIICE. And dude, save a few for yourself. Because if one of those bands makes it, you're going to be sitting there watching your work that you did for cheap money go for thousands on fucking ebay.

Love em. The lack of information reminds me fondly of handmade punk posters. No date, no time, just BAND + Address (or even better, Ask a Punk!)

There's dates on both, but it's true... no times.

You see shit like on facebook all the time, broke artists posting links to their old stuff priced at about six month's rent. Sucks the way that works.

Sometimes it gets pirated, too. Somebody tipped off Jay Lynch that there were pirated copies of his Janis Joplin poster being sold on ebay and he said to tell the seller he'd hand-sign them for a buck apiece.  :horrormirth: :horrormirth: :horrormirth:
