Blatant "Nessie" disinfo ahead (http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/04/18/apples-maps-trump-googles-as-hopefuls-hunt-for-legendary-loch-ness-monster), but we all know the real deal.
This looks like something from the Legend of Zelda.
It looks like someone took a picture of my plecostemus and shooped him in there.
Hoover? Is that you, buddy?
My guess is the phenomenon is not Loch Ness - related. Bit higher up. Only a tide feature would make a wave like that and Ness aint tidal. So that leaves something cloud based or a lense refraction but, hey, it's bound to draw a couple of thousand tourists so, yeah - defo a liopleurodon
It looks like a water droplet on the lens.
It looks like a pelagic shark shooped into a pic.
It's boat wake.
Iä Iä, infidels.
