verb (used without object), excelled, excelling.
1.
to surpass others or be superior in some respect or area; do extremely well:
to excel in math.

verb (used with object), excelled, excelling.
2.
to surpass; be superior to; outdo:
He excels all other poets of his day.

Can someone give those men a dictionary? All men can't be excellent at working together if men were the only ones allowed to work. Excellence is relative.

I can't believe I'm explaining this.

Also, has it occurred to this short-sighted asshole what would happen in terms of alimony and child support payments if women couldn't work?

Although I suppose that he's imagining that women would simply be financially unable to leave bad marriages.

That sounds appealing.
