So I've been following the open worm project (http://www.openworm.org/) for a while but somehow missed the fact that they'd hooked up the 300 neuron connectome model to a robot. So the robot hits a wall and backs away. Doesn't sound like much. Pretty sure I could write code to make this happen in a couple of mins but here's the awesome bit - nobody coded anything. The "worm" decided on it's own! Pretty cool!
