Titanic II resumes construction after financial holdup, plans to finally set sail in 2022
As per the article:
"Blue Star Line never let go.
The Titanic II is set to make its two-week maiden voyage in 2022, and construction of the replica recently resumed after a financial dispute held up the $500 million project for several years.
The ship, which will feature the same cabin layout as the original, will sail from Dubai to Southampton, England and then on to New York, tracing the North Atlantic route of its doomed namesake, which sunk on April 12,1912, less than three hours after sideswiping an iceberg."

Is should be a much safer trip in 2022.
There won't be any icebergs, for one thing.
First of all, you can't name a boat Titanic II without giving it a subtitle like
SON OF TITANIC
or, like
HARAMBE'S REVENGE
Secondly, it is a crime that we don't have the Chiller font
The Icebergening.
Also should be directed by M Night Shyamalan, with the twist being it's the boat which sinks the iceberg, killing an Inuit hunting party and a rare seal colony. The real monster was the boat all along.
It's alive! It's alive! Well ... at least the dream is still alive.
"Australian billionaire revives dream to set sail on Titanic II"
As per this article:
"Brisbane, Australia CNN — For more than a decade, Australian billionaire Clive Palmer has been the driving force behind plans to build Titanic II – a replica of the ill-fated ship that sank in 1912 with more than 2,200 people on board.
Only about 700 survived, creating history as the world's most disastrous voyage – and the light bulb of an idea for a billionaire with an interest in cruising and cash to burn.
Palmer first launched plans for Titanic II in 2012, and again in 2018.
Six years later, he's done it again, relaunching the project on Wednesday during a press briefing at Sydney Opera House against the backdrop of the city's famed harbor.
Once again, the question is why?"
That's another good question!
