Liberation, Revolution, Anarchy
Liberation usually ends in another system to be liberated. We here in America have a great amount of revolutionists and Anarchists now, but this all started with the same notion that our four fathers also started with had to be free (If they where here they would be revolutionists). The rules made by a revolution HAVE to be changed or nothing will change. Do not destroy the rules like the Anarchists suggest. As I said earlier I again do not have an answer I do not know what the rules should be, but I do know we need order and that is that. Revolution Is the Reaction to the action of gov?t. Reaction is an action in itself If we react to action we are creating a paradox. Paradoxes confuse, confusion creates questions, questions create action, and action creates reaction. This is the paradox of revolution. What we do need is a liberation a liberation from mindless mindlessness. Today we are not choosing anything we are being subjected to an illusion wrongfully called choice. Choice is not and Illusion, but there is an illusion created by media, the gov?t and people that they call choice, BUT Choice is Chaos. Choice is freedom. Those who actually do sat say "Choice is an Illusion" are in themselves deluded by the illusion of that statement, for it is only a statement. Choices could never be held down to the whims of a verbal clich?à spouted by deluded minds. Those who believe choice to be an illusion cannot understand why some of us can continue to act 'as if' choice was real.
another brilliant memorandum!
Well said, and safely so. I bow at your lotus feet! :D
Excellent stuff - I really agree with that "don't be for or against, choose another (your own) path" bit.
QuoteEvery revolution plants the seeds of its own destruction
Controversy is the key that asks us things we will not see... until we are fucking in the streets we will not be free... until the very idea of two people having it off in the middle of a public place no longer disgusts us or even causes us to bat an eyelid (not necessarily that we wouldn't have a reaction mind you.) we are not free. I mean what's wrong with sex? If there is a time and a place for it why can't that be dealy plaza 11:27 am november 22 1963? many generations must pass before willful peversion and ignorant stumbling becomes deliberate action I feel, just like narcotics... we still have no plot on that historic item...
and oh yes.. common sense breeds dissent... it's dangerous stuff this common sense, that's why it's so goddessdammed rare!
In order for a rev*lution to be succesful (successful [it's creative spelling ok?] meaning liberating) it must be a rev*lution not of the government but of people's minds. If the government is ov3rthrown without people's minds being changed, you just end up with more repr3ssion (ie USSR or Cuba).
Some punk rock guy once said that "the masses are asses". This is not entirely true. They seem to be only because they are enslaved to outdated and obsolete memes, which only exist due to their inertia. For example: cooperation can be mathematicly proven to be more creative than competition, however the master/slave mentality still exists. Why? Inertia.
Clearly, the thing to do is to create better memes, more fit memes, more relevant memes, and disiminate them. The problem here is that the outdated memes have created for themselves entire systems dedicated to maintaining them. Exhibit A: the state which punishes people for breaking the established rules. Exhibit B: the media which indocterinates our children with the memes. There are others. Until these machines are sab@toged it seems that there is no way to effectivly disiminate the new memes.
This leads us to a catch 22. A rev*lution of state is worthless without a rev*lution of minds, and a rev*lution of minds is impossible without a rev*lution of state.
And thus I come to the need for guerill@ surrealism. Defined as "any act too wierd to be classified by law." Guerill@ surrealism opperates under the same principles as the turkey curse. The poor luddites need an atmosphere of anerism to operate. If we destroy that atmosphere we help destroy their system.
Any way, thats what I have to say. Excuse the lete hacker speak. Bear in mind that I write this from a public computer, and I still haven't figured out exactly how much these people care.
Every Revolution begins with Education. Real education, the kind that teaches you how to look at things and actually see them. Unfortunatlly, such education is rare in America today.

I don't think it's just today. That's the kind of education that the U.S. hasn't seen since it became a country. About 200 years of 'be a good citizen and don't step out of line' teaching has put the country in one hell of a rut that will be hard to leave.
True enough, but there was a time (not too long ago) when parents seemed to understand that school was about learning. Now its about "Shut up and get the diploma", or as my parents so plainly put it "Read and Regurgitate".
In my experience that's pretty much a cop-out by the half-awakened masses... that they have to just shut up and do what they're told in order to get what they want...
Nya Nya-Nya Nya-Nya-Nya! :P :P :P :P :P
Did anyone order a rennaisance man for the class of 2007?
Like argh said it is a question of inertia, an inertia that is built up in our heads... Society is (by and large) a control mechanism which exists in the mind to control the individual by geneeralising them and telling them they must suit that generalisation. Instead of you adjusting yourself, the world ends up adjusting you, as penumbral might say...
I don't do what I'm told and I still get what I want, I am however quite prepared to deal with the consequences of poeple wanting to stuff me into lockers and hound me into silence... I've been at it so long I have an answer for every disparagement. And whever said that a small guy is dangerous in a fight has obviously never seen bruce lee...
