scrid?
i heard this word in a dream last night. if possible, please identify....failing that, create amusing & original definition.
i would be really pleased if we can convince other people that this word is in common usage and that they're simply not very 'with it' for not knowing.
maybe 6 months from now, someone will claim to have invented it or cite some preposterous etymology.
Scrid:
1. n. A highly literate squid.
2. v. The act of sliding on a freshly-waxed kitchen floor in new socks.

A scrid is the noise made when a Hard-Disk head crashes, erasing all data.
This is only true if the following conditions are met:
1) The hard drive was new
1a) or cost more than 400 dollars.
1b) or was more than 400gb in size.
and
2) The data was irreplacable
2a) Or 322 gigs of pornography.
