See, the thing about a really, really good troll is that it's not that hard. You just start talking about something that you kind of understand aspects of, a little, and state your partially-understood concepts as if they are incontrovertible facts. You gotta state that shit as if you are some kind of reknowned expert. Then, you wait for someone to correct you, and you double the fuck down. More people will join the fray, it's human nature. Make sure to only partially address anyone's points, and do so in a wall of text that manages to be both condescendingly-toned and also, somehow, just utterly clueless as fuck. It's ideal if you can, in the process, imply or outright accuse others of doing exactly what you're doing, AND, AND AND AND, also imply that they are either stupid.

It just so happens the government uses AES a lot, so I would use that with [as random as you can make them] salts and seeds, as well as making sure the key is as random as you can make it, while also making it long enough for a hash cracker to be useless. As far as I know, if you can get ahold of a hash of a small enough key, you can just bruteforce the hash and get the key easily. But, because the size of any hash is cut off, only part of the key could even be recovered if you got ahold of a hash for a very long key. Or, it would be a useless chain of characters, depending on whether length had anything to do with the hash encryption algorithm. I forget exactly how that works.

Hell, I know quite a lot of people who identify as sportsfans! And not just sports in general, but they pick one very specific set of sports(in this case ballgames), then within that set they pick one particular sport (soccer), and within that sport they pick one particular league, and within that league they pick one particular team! They somehow manage to sum up all this nonsense in a two word description of themselves. Oh also, they use this as an excuse to fight people who choose the same set of sports, the same sport, the same league, but a different team! Because those people are badwrong and need to be beat-up.

Compared to that clusterfuck: Identifying yourself based on either gender, sex, or a specific combination of the two doesn't seem that strange. It's downright sensible really, when seen in the right context.

P.S. I have heard rumors that some people even choose a particular player within a team to identify with, but I have a hard time believing that.

Spices behave WEIRD in alcohol - you get more of the basic flavor pulled out, and so cinamon can easily overpower a lot.  It's like drinking the cinamon challenge.

The recipe I posted may be pretty involved, but it does blance the flavors decently, and adds the sweet so you don't regret it AS much.

I didn't have enough vodka to dilute it drinkable levels.
I now have several jars of concentrated flavor just sitting around.
I need to get more vodka.
Also, I'm considering lemons to add another concentrate to my arsenal.

One other thing:  Dial up BBSs had a small following.  Then the internet happened, and people became more and more drawn into social interaction accordingly.

So a possibility is that people are just getting sick of being so social.
