Perhaps it's the many restraining orders sworn out against you. Or perhaps you had to register with the local law enforcement before you moved to your current hovel and are now surrounded by people that hate you, because they know what lives behind the door.

What ever it is that keeps your social life so stunted that you voluntarily occupy your intelligence wasting moments of your life posting as an lamer while thinking your cool for the effort, is relative to your personal emotionally insecure pathology.
Meanwhile many are witness to you and your kind, volunteering to debase their character in the company of strangers and in public. (Here and across web land.) I'm alright with people being assholes in regards to comments. If I had listened to those types, I'd probably living a hole in the ground right now.

And they would have been happy for the company.  That's why those types seek attentions outside, as respite from that dark hole that is their life.

Is an excellent and free writers support forum.  I believe you shall receive the critique your looking for. Conscientious rather than derisive.

I think you certainly have potential, because the rhythm of the story from it's beginning, engaged the imagery of the back story of Bianca, while keeping pace with the contemporary theme.  If I can read that in the first paragraph of a story, I'm captured to read on.  

My suggestion for any writer is to be aware of over using adverbs.

That's the very, very, very, littlest piece of advice I have.

To cut into layers horizontally:

Put toothpicks where you want to split, take a thread, place it around the cake, pull, should work, but I have never tried it.

A lite test fishing line would work very well. Less snag & break factor, to thread.
