Mitt Romney suffered yet another humiliation as he was jeered by thousands of Brits tonight after London's mayor publicly mocked the presidential hopeful's gaffe over the UK's ability to host the Olympics.

It capped a disastrous day in London for Romney after he kicked off his first foreign tour - as an entire city has appeared to turn against him.

Speaking in front of 60,000 assembled in Hyde Park at a concert to mark the end of the Olympic Torch relay, Mayor Boris Johnson used Romney's earlier remarks as a rallying cry.

He shouted to the crowd: 'There's guy called Mitt Romney who wants to know if we are ready. Are we ready? Yes we are!'

Nothing like kicking off your tour in a country you insulted in an interview...

This brings a huge smile to my face.

Oh, that should turn out, well, interesting.  Probably in a bloody carwreck kind of way.

You guys in the states with your recent huge spike in warm weather and this massive amount of rain and sudden sunny spot after a drought here in the uk is all extremely odd, surely these events can't be put down to global warming or any kind of similar science mumbo jumbo to make us feel bad and rob us of our money to change it cant be responsible.

For example, bird species that either are out of season or just plain not supposed to turn up here in the UK have been turning up.

What do you think?

This reminds me of a story of in which a deathrow prisoner (lol did autocorrect say parishoner?) in America as a final act, gave up his last meal, giving the request to feed the homeless salad or something similar (I heard this a while ago) needless to say that they denied the request and fried him in quicker time than usual.

Funnily enough, once he was "brown bread" vegetarian pizza's were dished out across multiple states to the homeless coincidentially whether it was the state listening to the prisioners wishes or just a do-gooder who caught wind of this and carried out his final wish nobody knows.

I get this loudness. One of the reasons the ex did not like being around me is because, well, sometimes I get a little agitated. Every now and again I can get a little yelly.

When people went quiet in our house, it meant something bad happened.  Same with my household now.  Keeling and I are always bellowing at each other.

So I associate "quiet" with "the sort of trouble I can't solve with head-butting".

I grew up in the opposite setting.  It was always quiet.  Hell, after dinner we would all gather in the living room and read books together.  Not the same book, mind you.  We would all sit in the living room, reading our own books, to ourselves.  Occasionally, dad would put on some Bach, or Mozart.

Mrs LMNO, who came from a TV family, kind of freaked out the first time she experienced that.  She calls it "social reading".

Dad and I would do that, while Mom and little brother watched TV.

Nobody yelled at my house.  I honestly can't recall my parents ever yelling.  It left me somewhat handicapped when dealing with arguments later in life.

I'm getting better.

Yeah. Yesterday was Trollbear day, today Is for other stuff. I don't have anything else to say to him except "GO GET US SOME BEER".

Normally in self indulgant trollbear fashion id be flattered but i do feel guilt and shame about what i have been doing recently.

You're trying too hard.  Relax.  Read more, go through the old threads... and remember that people will take a load more shit from people they know than the new guy.

After the IANAR-esque "you should be positive toward me when I make fucked up remarks" thing, I think it may be too late.

Not because anyone's particularly butthurt, but because Trollbear won't change because he CAN'T change.  He's basically an aspie who HAS to be a jackass, because he has no other social skills whatsoever.

There is absolutely no gain to be had by bothering with him.

Im sorry for being a jackass and maybe exaggerating by a small fraction more than appropriate how difficult everything was for me and i am deeply sorry for the shite that rolls off my toungue as of late.
