generally I agree with you. But are they really happy? REALLY?
And even if they are, aren't they making the lifes of others miserable? For example their children?
Or a lot of Fundies try to get political power by all means and make the life of ALL of us miserable, by outlawing certain things, which they deem, as if by divine will, evil and immoral.

If these evil fuckers would only try to impose their nonsense on themselves and don't enjoy life, loath their own bodies, feel shamefull for sex, have a SLAVEMENTALITY towards their church and doG, they would be within their rights.

But, alas, NO! They try to impose this EVIL CREED, the greyfacianism, the slavementality on EVERYBODY. By conversion if nessecary, by legal or other FORCE if must be.
If they are happy with their belief, fine. But if they try to impose it on others, as they do, THEY MUST BE RESISTED!!
By force if nessecary(see the spanish civil war for example), by surrealism(Hail Eris) if possible.

Why ignorant?

I know it's a lie. I like it. It's a nice lie.
quite complex and philosophical.
If castaneda invented it or if don juan REALLY exists doesn't matter to me.
Also it's not important if its an (supposedly) lie about indians or if this philosophy would be ascribed to the escimos, mongols or fnords.
I also like other books, which happen to be not 100% TRUE(you know the one and only thruth..)
It's called Fiction.

Yup, thats the thing I dislike most of the philosophy of Don Juan: Being alone and having no sex.

Otherwise I like many parts of his philosophy. Although more correctly it's not a philosophy: you have to LIVE IT.

If you don't like RAW, don't read him.
Personally I don't like the futurist part of his works neither.

But I am eternally thankfull about one of my first enlighments to him, which occured to me while reading Illuminatus.

Before that I was a kind of would-be Thelemit, but couldn't see through, couldn't grasp the core of it.

And thanx to RAW at one point Thelema, Discordianism, Agnosticism, Magick and concious Brain Change became a whole to me.

I still love reading his books, because they make me remember that moment.

And by the way: If he makes a living of making people like me happy and helping us - I frankly do not care.

And even if his books wouldn't conceal the occasional thruth or two, they are still entertaining.
Don't you buy books to be entertained?

Being hatefull feels generally not good.  There might be times, when I'm happily full of hate, but normaly I ask some1 to tickle me.

If u love smashing greyfaces notion of reality in little pices of marmelade, why not do so with a smile or even a better an insane laugh in your face.

Why being serious at all, just because the world is fucked up. Just be happy.
