Ahh, well all my casting contacts are in the UK, or I'd offer some ideas too.
One day, I shall make the news feed. Then they'll see. Then they'll all see! Mwahahahaha!!!!

Y'see I work in 3D then have a guy with a rapid prototyping rig turn the model into a real piece of jewellery. Even for something small like the pendant above it'd be likely to cost $60+ to have a wax master produced. For something as big as a belt buckle... well, for one thing I'd have to find someone else to do it 'cause my current contact can only do small stuff. Then I'd have to consider that you need to add stuff to the back as well as the front, necessitating a double-plunge, which costs more... it all adds up.
There are people on Etsy who do casting, you might be able to talk someone into it. It would be expensive, but awesome.
Quote from: Minxys on November 16, 2008, 09:11:41 AMIt's not something I could do myself, but it's a great idea. Sadly the realisation fee for an item that big would cost way more than I could afford. Brass would be good I reckon.
Well, no shit, you've heard of a belt buckle, silly! I'm suggesting that someone makes a golden apple belt buckle. You can use whatever cheap metal since it isn't worn directly on skin.

That looks like a butt.
