Ahh, well all my casting contacts are in the UK, or I'd offer some ideas too.

There are people on Etsy who do casting, you might be able to talk someone into it. It would be expensive, but awesome.
It's not the casting, it's the realisation. Y'see I work in 3D then have a guy with a rapid prototyping rig turn the model into a real piece of jewellery. Even for something small like the pendant above it'd be likely to cost $60+ to have a wax master produced. For something as big as a belt buckle... well, for one thing I'd have to find someone else to do it 'cause my current contact can only do small stuff. Then I'd have to consider that you need to add stuff to the back as well as the front, necessitating a double-plunge, which costs more... it all adds up. :(

Well, no shit, you've heard of a belt buckle, silly! I'm suggesting that someone makes a golden apple belt buckle. You can use whatever cheap metal since it isn't worn directly on skin.
It's not something I could do myself, but it's a great idea. Sadly the realisation fee for an item that big would cost way more than I could afford. Brass would be good I reckon.

Costs would depend on the material it was made from, effectively. The last circular pendant I made would have cost about $35 to $40 in silver, but this design is thinner than that was so I'd expect something in the region of $30. Naturally it'd be more expensive in gold and cheaper in brass, both of which I should be able to get depending on preference. I'd need at least a few interested parties before I could get started making them though, since the initial casting of a master would be pricey enough for me and I'd need enough reasonably certain profit to cover my expenditure. It sucks being poor.

If you have any ideas that you think would improve the design, I'd love to hear them.

That looks like a butt.   :lulz:
Like I said, it's a prototype so a couple of the lines could still use a little smoothing.

Bring and Brag / Discordian Jewellery - Any Interest?

I've been wondering about maybe making some discordian themed jewellery. Thing is I don't have a lot of cash myself, and it's a pricey business, so I thought I'd look around and see if there'd be any interest if I did produce some stuff. Here's a quick sample prototype of one of my pendant designs, any questions or comments would be much appreciated!
