I took a look around. I liked Truth in the Dark, Dog-Headed Whore, and flesh-spirit.
The Dog-headed whore I think could be made more to my tastes if the back ground was a different color though.

zut: shtoopit housemate.  would be better if she would actually bother to care for her own kids.  y'know instead of getting spun out and letting zut and El Hubbito do it.

tonight was a "wing-it" or "clean out the fridge" day, so:

4 parsnips, scraped and sliced
4 carrots, ditto
3 big leeks, washed and cut up
1 can chicken breast
1 cup pearled barley
1qt chicken broth
2qts water
3 big bay leaves
4 cloves garlic
(in a tea ball or cheesecloth bag)
1 TB peppercorns
1 TB rosemary
1 TB thyme

saute vegs until softish, dump all in to big pot, simmer for a few hours

super yum.  I may use veg broth and no chicken next time

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....marinate it in vinegar?

Seems like a nice-ish guy.  Guess I'll adopt a wait-and-see attitude.  I don't have any official opinion until he's had a year to fuck or unfuck the country.

2 Boxes mac and cheese
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 lb ground flesh, or not*
1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
1 can corn drained
1 onion, chopped


1.Brown ground flesh. (or not )
2.saute onion
3.boil mac, drain
4.add cheezey stuff, whatever.  like it says on the box.
5.add beans, corn, flesh(or not ), onion
6.mix thoroughly
7.nomnomnom
8.goes great with beer and tortilla chips
9.El Hubbito likes mucho hot sauce on this
